Ahh I meant a few months game-time for what I thought you meant for the China thing (There's no smart system for it, I should just state what time I mean after every timeframe given...)
But if you're willing to go ahead with my idea for the 3rd game I'd be thrilled, though I'd say yours has priority.
If everyone wants my idea I'll send a message of the general idea to Bailey and we can get game 3 going! I will have to say now, it involves many things we can blow up and a plan of indescribable audacity (probably)

I think I should also mention I had a dream about this game, only Bailey was a woman...
I assure you, that incident in Singapore was all a misunderstanding.

uh-oh...
It's 1884 yet we're acknowledging Prussia as a nation. I will say that Germany was unified entirely in 1871. It's not actually an issue, we just need to pretend that previous mentions of 'Prussia' were actually us typing 'Germany' with a clever disguise on

I don't see a contradiction here, of course Germany was united in 1871, but it was under Prussian rule and this defines that era. From a historical point of view that means, that many of the values and ethics of Germans, up until the current day, derive from that part of Germany. (see Prussian Virtues). Using both words interchangeably is totally ok! Believe me, I'm German (and actually, Prussian too, because I was born in Hanover and grew up in Berlin.). When Germans talk of that time, they'd rather speak of "Prussians" than of "Germans", but both is ok. Issa is very deeply rooted in that background, I made her a Prussian noble. I made her own house up, but she is related to the real existing von Bismarcks, family of the German chancellor during the time of our story, on her mothers side. While she is the black sheep of the family, disinherited and estranged, she cannot deny her heritage. Although she might be slightly more feral now...

Ah, thought I'd spotted a hiccup. I even studied this exact era in AS history just last year and have already lost half of it all...
Also, I'm aware of the Prussian history of Issa (DUN DUN DUNNNNN)

Hehe, I actually made that her background, because it's easier to play for me that way - while I have no clue about nobility, the Prussian virtues are something we both grew up with; I only need to make her a bit stricter than myself. She may have one or two of my more charming character traits too, but I won't elaborate on that! (I learned that in RP long ago, when in doubt, make a char that's not too far from yourself, makes it easier to stay in character. Seemed a logical choice for a new story.)

Corsair, your story sounds wonderful. Blowing up things and incredible audacity are two of Redburn's best features in my humble opinion! Also, that is a wonderful way to end the story MWBailey. I love it!

"Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

We were hoping to keep 'em all in one thread, I thought; it's not as though the space per thread were necessarily limited. But, whatever, I suppose. You might want to ask Corsair just in case, though.

Keep them in the one thread, even if it's long. It just makes it tidier. Split it up into 'mini chapters' if possible and post them bit by bit in the between thread.
Also, the new game thread, For Queen and Country, is up. Everyone from the last game received such an envelope in case that assumption wasn't made.

Oh wow, you're fast! I had thought, we'd write the "in between" stories for a few days first and then start the new game. How much time has passed then, in-game, from the last adventure to this one? Right now, I couldn't possibly say what Issa and Alex were up to in the meantime - Private Weasel and I need to coordinate stories first; I guess a realistic time to get back to the story for us would be Tuesday, that is roughly 48 hours from now. Don't know if you want to start without us then? Or could we just postpone the start of the new story for a week or so? To give everyone a chance to write their own "in between" things if they like? How does everyone else feel about this? ...apart from all that, I love the beginning of the new story! Tea with the Prime Minister! Oh my!

You don't have to post the in between stories before joining game 3. It's a RetCon thing. Just add it in to the between thread whenever it's ready. We'll say it's been maybe 7-8 months if that works btw.

That will work the only thing I am totally unsure of at the moment is what sort of power the curse gave starling other than a heck of a lot of vitality.

I was wondering too. I put that placeholder there, to make sure we'd fit in at the beginning, since neither Private Weasel nor I won't really be able to write before tomorrow (at the earliest). But you can just go on writing, we'll just squeeze in somewhere then. In case you were waiting. Otherwise, just ignore me.
