And now Starling will find out what happens when you kick a mummy in the nards.  Oh and uncle has a whip and is not afraid to use it to keep miss Issa safe.

I think Starling did not think her plan through but then again a greenie on fire would probibly react the way she expected.

Lets try not to let characters' actions speak for RL people, here; I'm sure Corsair's character's actions are strictly in character. Might even work out well. Surely we can cope and still be successful.

Sorry if I may have given the impression that I confuse characters with players; I tried to be quite clear about that.

As a player - well, Rooney's character reminds me of the characters a friend of mine usually played in tabletop games. (As an aside: this friend's nickname is "Roon" *g*) His characters were always of the "lone wolf" kind, didn't really communicate with the group and usually died somewhere mid-game, after running off to do some heroic deed on their own.
But I wouldn't dream of telling The Corsair how to play his char! I just wanted to point out, that Joe Rooney's actions might not be well received by the group. And that there is in fact no plothole. From John McClane over Indiana Jones to Frodo and Sam - none of them ever had an escape plan! Such is the way of heroes!  Grin

Issa would have a thing or two to say about Rooney though - but she's got other problems right now.

I think I should also mention I had a dream about this game, only Bailey was a woman...

I assure you, that incident in Singapore was all a misunderstanding.

Issa will continue to be completely useless for a bit. She's under shock. Or she lost her mind. Who knows?

Uncle Randal is going to try to defend you.  Hopefully he has better luck with mummies than Starling did.

Judging from the fact that they speak English and not Arabian,I would treat them as Threadstone soldiers.

I should sell tickets to the solders to watch.  We would make a fortune.

Starling is now being used as a human battery by the mummy.  Perhaps this will teach her that not every monster can be pounded in to submission some take planning and special tools.

How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

Well, basically, Nuri got all bothered by her boyfriend accessing another girl, and then heard him saying that she was basically his own private 'coppertop.' So, she got kinda ticked off, and decided to end teh preoblem. Permanently... Grin

It was inevitable!
I remind you of my earlier remark on page 5:

EDIT: a shared ...nemesis? well, as long as I can have the stereotypical kung-fu chick catfight with her!

Remember Rule #3 - we didn't see her body, did we?  Grin
