I need to play consulting detective.   Grin

I hope you have a deerstalker, a pipe and a violin! I would not however recommend cocaine...=P

Also congrats on your job interview. I hope it goes well!

Well at the courthouse I was in tweed and I do have a nicotine addiction as well as experience in several schools of martial arts.

I too have been considering it as a means of employment.  The State Laws for a "private detective" mean that I need to find loopholes in the legal wording.  I'm catching a break in this situation due to my status in an organization that allows me to basically act as an "internal" investigator.  Other times I have had friends call me in on things that it's mainly as a consulting person.

This.  I think he's a little young to join us, but certainly in a tactile sense shows promise.

How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

Working on my portfolio at the rate of one measured sketch a day (I don't really have time for more, what with my model-building activities, reading and that old boring stand-by, unfulfilling paid drudgery....)

It's so refreshing to be drawing for myself, and thereby able to do whatever the d*mn well I please, rather than trying to pander to the tastes of taciturn lecturers or in-keeping with the ethos of the practice I used to work for.  An eclectic blend of Venetian Gothic, Rustic Classicism and Vernacular Revival all the way for me!

Flightless Phoenix, what is your thesis about?
I did a course at Uni last year called 'Waking the Dead: Death, Burial & Memorials', which meant I got to spend a fair amount of time in local pioneer cemeteries. Don't you just love that! It's like doing Forensic Anthropology & Forensic Archaeology - you got to watch the really gory TV programmes as 'homework'!!

Bought me a recumbent bicycle this weekend. I've ridden a 3 wheel recumbent before, but never a two wheeler. It's one of these: http://www.challengebikes.com/hurricane_detail.php
All flat black (steampunkable basic colour).
This week I'm going to practice, plans are for next week to go one's a week to work. Than, do this for about a month and after that, twice a week to work. Home-Work 35km one way. Right now, with current petrol prices, with my car it's €11,50 a day for gas. If I save €11,50 every time I take a trip, I can buy another better recumbent in about a year.  Grin

After not wanting to look at it for ages, I've finally decided on what I'm going to do to the jacket I've been working on.... I'm going to turn it from a traditional "sports coat" cut to a tailcoat.  Granted, the tails will be on the short side, but at least I have an idea of what I'm going to be doing.
