It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

Wasn't sure about posting here or in the "GAHH" thread. Today's my birthday. No candles on the cake (don't want to set the fire department on me). Going out with my lady friend for (hopefully) a raucous good time. Will be wearing my victorian western outfit and will sport a 'don't give a sh!t' attitude. The other side to all this is I'm at work til 4:00pm and have to return tomorrow at 8:00am. Already forewarned the night shift of my impending 'situation.'
Humming to myself a song from Pink Floyd's "The Brick" album: "I need a dirty woman....I need a dirty girl."

Well happy birthday to you. I had one of those should just enter the same in both this and the Gah thread myself. Ended up by putting it there. I will say that yesterday's happy moment was also terribly said. I received a phone call from my little sister (the happy part). She is sounding so much more grown up since I've seen her (the sad part).
Today started with a wonderful hour or so at the farmer's market and the prospect of pancakes made from home-milled spelt, wheat, rye, rolled oats and such.

Yeah, I set it to 0"3 shutter speed, snapped, and twisted the camera. Granted, my unorthodox methods got me b*tched out by a "professional" (although personally, I think I'm a better photographer), all because I wasn't holding my camera the right way. She's like "Didn't anyone ever tell you how to HOLD a camera?" *In my head* "And didn't anyone ever teach YOU about shutter speed, aperture, and white balance?" *Out loud* "I hold it however I have to to get the shot. And I take DAMN find photos." Me-1 B*tch-0 YAY ME!!!

Darn tootin' Yay you. That's a weird-awesome photo. I like it. And congrats on the win.
I myself played my first round of DnD and then went to a party and saw a friend that I haven't in over a year. A little of Tenn. Honey Jack and some coffee only added to the happy feelings this fine morning.

Went to an international dance festival today. Several local groups performed or taught various dances: Scottish highland and country dance, Irish ceili, Waltz, Reels, Square dancing, etc.
All I can say is 'Thanks to all of you kilt wearers out there!' There is just something really dashing and indescribably sexy about a man in a kilt. YUM.

A late start to the day (noon) after a very late night. It's far too cold to be outside so my lady and I have bundled up, munchy snacked and watched the Adventures of Brisco County Jr all afternoon. Great show, good food, and my great girl are adding up to a fun day.

Just got back from a night out, we saw Emo Phillips at The Laughing Skull Lounge, which is officially the world's smallest comedy club. Not only was he funny, but he had on an awesome frock coat and vest combo...and I got to meet him...
When I had to stop at the store on the way home, they had " I Wanna Be Sedated" by The Ramones playing in the grocery store! Altogether a good evening..

I always love it how a great song (like that one) could be playing in the most unexpected of places and it is always the icing on the cake for a good time. Last night I was at a party, rap seemed to be the music of choice. Suddenly though, the crap-tastic music was disrupted by Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads! A great song if I do say so myself.

Steak, garlic mushrooms in a red wine jus, sweet potato chips, all cooked & served by the fair hand of my delightful other half. In return I have tickets for us to see Bill Bailey tonight and for a Valentine's choral concert in St. Paul's Church (not to be confused with the Cathedral), Knightsbridge tomorrow night. I think a visit to the V&A tomorrow should just about round off a glorious few days wonderfully.
Yes, I'm sickeningly in love, apologies to those who have already had enough of Valentines.
