Hello, my name is Scott Kinkade, an aspiring author and steampunk fan. I'm writing a series of short stories set during an alternate French Revolution.
Synopsis:
A trio of French knights finds themselves caught in the Bastille when it is stormed by a Parisian mob on July 14, 1789 (X Calendar). They must not only escape the siege, but also save King Louis XVI from an assasination plot. Expect airships, weird technology, tweaked historical figures, and maybe a monster or two.
I'm working on turning it into a novel once the story is finished (currently on the last portion of Part IV), and I'd love to get feedback on it. You can read it at
