That headline made me wonder if there is a Yoda twitter feed. That could be interesting to follow.

I jumped aboard the good ship HMS Tweet Tweet in September. I'm not a tweet-a-minute type (who has that kind of time, really?) but I like following various other folks in the community. Here's my twittage: http://twitter.com/#!/EscapeTheClouds

Can't remember which comedian said it now but he suggested that the past tense of 'Tweet' is 'Twat'

I have just started a twitter account, I intend to send (very) irregular tweets in guise of a British solider in a steampunk 1888 not sure if this will work however I'm willing to give it ago. I hope to to get some feedback but please be gentle this he first time I have tried to do anything like this the name of the soldier is Corporal Archibald Charman the twitter name is @cplarchibaldcha bit of a mouthfull but the word restriction didn't help (a taste of things to come?) so come have a look.
PS I make no money from this so please don't report as spam.

I've made an account a while ago, just to see what Twitter was all about. I can understand it might be intersting how some people make a creative prosess, like how a film is made, or an album. But most tweets are about:"I just had a bowel movement, washed my hands, going for a bite to eat#macD's"
With social media, everyone knows what everyone else is doing. Making it obsolete to have a chat with them in real life. Actually, I shouldn't complain. I met my wife on msn-messenger. Her profile (at that time you could browse thrue profiles) said she liked tinkering, although she used an unknown word for it. So I asked her to add me to her messenger. One thing lead to another and now where 5 years married next week friday.

While poking about the interwebs one day, I discovered that Dr Fidelius already is active on Twitter. He doesn't sound much like me, so it must be interdimensional seep from an alternate universe.

I'm on Twitter, but I don't post much in the way of steampunk. Its mostly random thoughts and retweets of funny things I read. Its also protected, but I don't mind being followed by people from the forum.
Just look for my username; its the same in both places.

"Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

Somehow, the concept of being limited to a certain number of characters (not to mention words) seems to call 2 mind all dat rong wit txtng. If I mean to say something, I will say it, and bedamn the limitations...

Is the word limitation really that dramatic? I can understand it they're censoring curse words and racism, but is it more than that?
