Also known as the Tees Transporter Bridge, it is well worth seeing while it's still working.

I may be attending this event, is anybody else planning to attend?

If only I could...

Born and bred in Teesside, so the transporter holds a very special place in my heart. I missed the last raising of Albert Bridge and now I'm going to miss this too. Curse my not inconsiderable bad luck!

Dear Friends,

I have now received the invitation to attend this event. I will be there, with a Penny Farthing or maybe two, from 12.45 to 4pm approximately.

If you are visiting, I would be pleased to make your acquaintance.
