Dance Dance Steampunk Revolution

Steampunk music runs the gamut of the genres, and so does the dancing! Solo or partner, traditional or tribal. Steampunk is being influenced by the music and the dances, and vice-versa! Come one, come all to the Dance Dance Steampunk Revolution, featuring a dance showcase demonstrating various styles of dance and then dance lessons throughout the weekend.

Ever want to learn how to dance but were too afraid? Were lessons focused heavily on exact footwork too difficult for you? These dance lessons are for you! Swing Goth teaches based on upper body connection and motions, helping you learn faster so that you can have fun dancing sooner! No need to come with a gentleman or a lady, we can provide one for you! (So don’t be afraid to come alone.)

Swing Goth will be featuring a showcase of dances in the styles of Waltz, Blues, Bellydance, and Swing to some of your favorite Steampunk tunes.

We will also be featuring lessons in partner dancing in the styles of Waltz, Blues, and Swing. We will additionally be featuring lessons in Bellydance. There will also be time set aside for an open dance floor.

Room to be TBA, please check your Steamcon III program.

I will definately watch the belly-dancing if Katana is performing.  She came to Spokane a few months ago and put on a great performance.
