Lady of Misrule + Lord of Misrule's other half

« on: September 16, 2011, 08:46:03 am »

Hello! As part of the Open House London weekend, the Crossness Engines House in Abbey Wood will be admitting visitors free of charge this Sunday, September 18th. Visiting hours are between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm. Lord and Lady of Misrule (and Child of Boundless Chaos) shall be attending around noon, so perhaps we will see some fellow London steampunks there!

The Crossness Engines House is a Grade I listed waste-water pumping station built by Joseph Balzagette (the engineer of London's Victorian sewerage system). It contains four of the world's largest beam engines (one in steam), and absolutely stunning Victorian ironwork.
