Come on now, I know at least some of you have got to be fans of the show. And now that it's over I feel that we should finally talk about it. So join in and share some of your favorite moments of the series. Come and share tales of your favorite doctor west of England, the one with that biting wit and sardonic laugh that made you cry with laughter.

There is a reason for this. And trust me, when a bunch of harry potter geeks think your fucking retarded, you know there is something wrong.

The comment most frequently heard in this household is that he seems to take an unconscionably long time and repeated mis-diagnosed treatments to successfully treat his patients.
That said however, a general practitioner addressing a small class which I attended advised us that in general practice, most doctors will commonly see five or six ailments concerning which they are well-advised to become expert and refer the rest to the "punch-and-ponder" department.
I have been enjoying the series "Bramwell" about (fictional as far as I know) ground-breaking London East-end physician Eleanor Bramwell. The series is brutally realistic with regard to both the medical science of the period and the social culture.

I'm a fan and I thought they gave the show a pretty good send off.. It was just kind of strange to hear Hugh Laurie's real accent in the behind the scenes show..

thankyou for posting no spoilers as I'm a series behind I'm a massive fan of Holmes *ahem* i mean house. my favorite parts have to be the way he deals with the patients in the ER. "this means two things, 1) your son has neurological damage and 2) he'll never be chief fry cook."

My mistake, it was on this week after all, although I'm sure it'll be repeated.

No, it's not. Series is already plural, so there's no need to add the "es" again. #puts word pedant back into box#
