Depending on how you pronounce the ae in knupmaets, it sounds like a greeting.  "Nup Mites!"  (old Latin as in Caesar (Kaiser) instead of Seezer)

They were about 20 feet tall and were doing amazing gymnastics.  That and hearing people say my given name even though nobody knew even my first name, at that point I got as comfortable as I could and slept in between bus stops.  (I was awake for so long because aside from a few occasional rude people, I had to keep track of when transfers were and I have a tendency to sleep through things.)
