No, no, no, he already was a lamb, but then he got to old and tough and developed a really strong, rather unpleasant flavor.

And a shot of my chops...I'm trying to grow them to interact aesthetically with me tattoos, but it's a work in progress:

Well, I have pretty dense facial hair, and I'm not yet 16 (will be in may), yet, for some reason, my moustache isn't dense enough, guess it will be later this year. I'm sporting neat sideburns anyway, in an regency style, hope I get a Kaiser Wilhelm II moustach by this year end or by the beginning of 2011, will post pics then xDDDDD

Well I have begun, been growing for about a month. I am going for the whole goatee-with-built-in-handlebar type thing. It is a little untidy in this shot, the outer areas not usually unshaven. I am thinking of neatinging up the edges and going with its natural shape, as you can see I have a bald patch in the middle.

I'm posting this because it soon being summer I will soon shave it off.....If you can tell I have a half inch wide strip down the middle of my beard, it is quite natural and rather striking in person my father has the same thing though now it Go's from Brown to red to gray rather than brown to red, is it odd that we both have red beards(well when my father grows one which is not often) though our heads are quite brown?

My boyfriend has three black stripes -- one down the centre and one from either corner of his mouth, in an otherwise red-brown beard. I think it looks fantastic. XD

Have you ever tried wearing a beard through the summer? Part of the reason my boyfriend stopped shaving was the shaving irritation in the heat. We're in Australia, so it does get genuinely hot. A member of this forum who I haven't seen around for a while -- a certain Vincent Theriere -- also at least used to sport some fantastic 'chops all the way through the summer in Brisbane. If it's being hot and uncomfortable you're worried about... why not actually find out, rather than just pre-emptively removing that marvellous facial foliage?

I wear my beard through a Canberra summer. I don't think it makes that much difference in the end.

Ocelot, if it helps, I'd ride that moustache.

M'Lady's none too fond of facial hair, so my chops are sadly depilated.  At very least till things are set in stone and signed in blood, that is.  Wink

I'll be chopping back my beard this time next week to a Regency style to demonstrate it for a Regency festival. I'll post an artist's impression when it'd done.

So I found this article about cold water shaving on the art of manliness sight that Vagabond Gentleman was generous enough to inform me about....thought I'd share...

http://artofmanliness.com/2010/03/24/cold-water-shaving/

I tried a week ago and am totally hooked...anyone else do this or is it just me.

Well, my better half has told me that although she prefers me clean shaven  she is generous enough to accept that (and I quote) "It's your face and you can do what ever you like with it"

Ah, Captain, good to see you again old man.

I'm a lucky fellow, my good lady approves totally on my facial hair, especially when waxed.

Here is the abovementioned facial hair modification.

I feel slightly ridiculous, but when wearing a hat, it looks much better. Without a hat, it looks like I'm a creepy man.

Word...

In his spare time Choreocrat ties blond maidens to train tracks and wrings his hands menacingly with a nasal laugh...unfortunately, he's generally foiled...again.

Luckily, he's one of the few gents you'll meet with an impressive connection of those cute little round bombs with fuses...
