I don't think I'd risk my life and family for the pleasure of wearing a moustache personally. I certainly admire his guts but I dunno. I'm not much of a fan of the Taliban, I think if they ever took over my area I'd feel a strong urge for fight or flight.

I admire the the moral inflexibility of his stance. If an unreasonable man knows you will back down, then his next logical course of action is to see how far he can push your placation before you stand your ground. For it does not matter where you finally draw the line. He has already won by the gains he has made at your expense.

Well here you go gents (or indeed ladies if you have the predilection). It seems if you feel your beard is not quite full or manly enough, you can now pay a plastic surgeon to give it a little boost.
