I must say, your Merlin is an absolute treasure, he is polite, well mannered and can dance like a demon with its feet on fire! You did well there Smiley

Thank you kindly, Darkshines, she said somewhat smugly. Actually he insisted on going to proper ballroom dancing class after the first Asylum and stuck it out for over a year even though he had to dance with old ladies! He's now gone off to Birmingham to become a clockmaker.

Shellac Sister look great - but are they expensive? Couldn't we do this ourselves?

No idea on their cost but they do have it all figured out already which could be worth something. They dont need power unless they need amplification, they have custom amps and they can easily play outside!

Please do remind him to say hello to us West Midlanders sometime, we'd love to see him come along to an event at some point.

+++++NEWSFLASH++++++

Just anounced by Major Tinker via Facebook:

Quote
The Men spoke to me last week and asked to pull out since they have been offered two gigs at Bestival. We are of course delighted for them and the opportunity this is to bring steampunk to the mouldering masses. We immediately withdrew tickets for their gig from sale and are prepared to refund them if people wish. Alternatively The Men have kindly offered an album in compensation for the disappointed and we are still looking to run the club night but obviously now with an alternative front. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope you will join us in congratulating The Men in their attempt to take over the World.

Much as I wish The Men all the best in their attempt at World Domination...we did kinda have first dibs!

Although I can see that two gigs is better for them than the one..disappointing all the same.

Not sure the world is ready!

Still, greater exposure can only be a good thing!

This is the polling thread that was used to invite input prior to the release of tickets etc for 2012.  It is now redundant and really ought to be unstickied and left to fade away a little.  The main and current thread is http://brassgoggles.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,32880.225.html

Unstickied and locked to allow it to fade away.

Should OPs ever want posts unstickied they have but to ask Smiley  Should you need the thread reopened for any reason, Tinker, just ask one of the Mods Smiley
