Firstly, I'm sorry that this is posted at such late notice.  I can only really blame my stupidly poor memory for that! ;^^ Anyway, the Hoylake Lifeboat Museum in Merseyside is holding a Victorian Family Fun Day on Sunday, and as my Mum is helping out, she asked me to check if anyone here would want to come.  I can't scan the poster for it, as my scanner has decided it hates me, but this is what the poster says (hidden under spoilers due to the length of it; also, I tried to keep the formatting, as it just looked too good to not include):

VICTORIAN FAMILY FUN DAY

An event open to all, and featuring all the latest seaside distractions,

Including shows of Mr Punch and Judy, Artful Sculpturing of the Sand,
Pony Rides, Craft Displays & Workshops, Games, Sports and much more besides...

Atendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, a picnic and their servants, and to dress accordingly;

Prizes shall be awarded to the 'Bathing Belle' and 'Bathing Beau'
In a free-to-enter, 'Fancy-Dress' Competition.

This extravaganza to take place on Hoylake Beach, between 1 and 4 of the clock
on the afternoon of

The health of all will derive great benefit from the bracing sea-airs and refreshing ozone.
