My Desktop (For this week anyway): Where can one find the image you use for your background?

I don't remember where I actually picked it up from but I got two others that were similar with an EricFreitas.com watermark on them. I don't know if the names are really the titles of the originals, but it's what they were called when I found them. I put the set up on my photobucket for you: Dual DialClockwork & CalligraphyDegenerationThe 'Clockwork and Calligraphy' one is used as the background of my sig pic.

This was mine a couple months back: My current wallpaper isn't quite so steampunky... (though I suppose you could say Iron Man is at least a little bit? )

I use a wallpaper that was released as a promo on the web site for the film Coraline. They released a number of desktop wallpapers that look like... wallpaper. I've always wondered why there weren't more wallpaper wallpapers out there. They aren't specifically Steampunk, but they are a bit Victorian looking. http://www.coraline.com/#/?page=foyer&subPage=0To get the wallpaper, click on one of the lamps in the hallway. The one I'm using is the blue one with the beetles. Edited to add: you'll have to click the "Enter Site" button to get to the Foyer, which is where the wallpaper is. I like an interactive site as much as the next person, but it sure does make linking to specific features difficult.

Oh, you are beautiful! No really, you are, you're gorgeous! Space-age clockwork, I love it, I've got chills! Listen, I mean this from the heart - and by the way, count those - it would be a crime, it would be an act of vandalism to disassemble you.
But that won't stop me.

Strain on the eyes??? "F.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day." At night your screen will have a slight Sepia tone or all the time if you change the settings I love the look of Sepia and think it add to my steam powered lappy enjoy! Helps the old eyes too! http://stereopsis.com/flux/flux-setup.exe

Since I've just moved onto windows 7 (had it for six months but only just got around to using it, for reasons you'll see below) and found this place looking for a suitable theme. Sadly, all I've accomplished so far is implementing my old background and a custom brass colour on my taskbar. Here's the reason I've only just moved to Win 7... I didn't want to leave my old custom theme. Maybe I get to attached to things. I change the background every so often, but the taskbar stays the same. It's a modified version of the Oldfactory XP theme (metal borders, flourishes, that sort of thing). With luck, I might be able to do some modifications for a windows 7 theme.

Not so much Steampunk, but I think it qualifies as Victorian at least.
