I use whatever currency is accepted wherever I happen to be. If I run low on cash, I can always barter.

Oh, indeed. I can always trust myself. I trust others about as far as they trust me, though.

If you have a drink in your hand, to whom would you raise a toast?

How is this possible? I never get invited to any social events or functions in which I might have the opportunity to make a toast, as I have almost no friends. Certainly I must be in a dream, or hallucinating, this can't be real!

(Drops glass and stares in awe at surroundings)

I typically don't like parties anyways.

     (Picks up broken glass)

"Uhhh... To our guest of honor, that guy over there. What is your name again sir?"

Okay, so that was a more than a little exaggerated, but it get's the idea across that both Fritz and I have few friends and lack social skills.

     What are your favorite foods?

My dear Kapitan, you would be very welcome at my next party. I have landing facilities, if you don't mind mooring behind my abode...

I have to admit to a penchant for chocolate, but I am also a lover of good meats, many fruits and raw fish served in the Japonaise style.

"Allow me to answer that," said Alina, stepping out of the multitude, "I have after all been awarded an honorary position in the imperial air force, even though I'm beginning to reconsider how much I really want to involve myself with their cause."

My aircraft is named the Wyvern. Do you own a particular vehicle?

Although I am a zeppelin captain the zeppelin technically belongs to the Luftstreitkrafte. On the ground I usually just walk. It's free and usually unproblematic. It may be boring, but it works well for me. If I am in an area with public transportation I will use it for longer distances.

"What enemies do I have?" Sholto asked, one eyebrow raised as he tinkered with his equipment. "Well, for starters I have rival Hunters that would love to see me dead and gone. Opens more opportunites for them in the business. Outside of my fellow Hunters, various members of the law enforcement would love to see me gone. They think I'm a murderer and a killer. They don't know about what lurks in the Dark and so assume that I kill other people, not monsters."

The Hunter slid two parts together until an audible click was heard. He nodded in satisfaction and raised the large caliber revolver to eye level for a closer inspection. He set down the heavy weapon on the table, the workings of the gun cleaned to his specifications. A dark mood overcame the Hunter as he though of what to say next.

"...And of course, there are the monsters themselves," he ended.

A nice mix of the two. You can never have too many torpedoes or too much food, but then you need to save room for the, ah, tactical acquisitions.

What do you read?

Mostly nonfiction. Technical field manuals, complex political essays, scientific journals, a lot of history, etc.

What makes me tick? Ale. Lots and lots of ale. And my dog keeps me sane as well as he can, but so long as I have a sky to fly and a steady supply of the strong stuff on hand, I'm good.

OOC though, I don't drink at all, and it's the violin. Though I'm not even sure how to play.

Once, and it wasn't that long ago, I was stranded at the top off a building that was burning fro the bottom up. It was a good five floors high, and all the stairwells were burning steadily. I noticed a fire hose coiled on the roof, fixed tightly to a water outlet. I grabbed it, and holding it firmly, repelled down the building with it.
Once I reached the bottom I was reminded that I could have used it to put out the fires. Ah well; you win some, you lose some.

When faced with a raging storm, what would you do?

Take cover until the storm ends. I have this problem with lightning...

Not trusting Banks and other istitutions then I would convert it into gold-coins and bars and secrete them around my house. A safe behind a painting would hold all paper monies and documents.

No, he never has time. Between his different missions, long periods away from home, and constant travel, there's barely enough time to get things done, much less having romance of any kind.

Does your character have any pets?

Fritz has a German Shepherd Dog named Wolfgang, and they are best friends. Fritz finds it easier to connect with animals than he does with other people. Fritz doesn't really see Wolfgang as a pet though, he treats him almost more like a son. If you were to see the world from Fritz's eyes, you'd see Wolfgang as a human being in a dog's skin. They speak to each other, and can read each other's emotions.

#answering the last question whilst the Kapitan thinks of one#

No, it's hard to live with anything so ephemeral. And animals react oddly to me - I think they sense my difference. Cats like me, dogs really don't...

My Captain's Coat, it's intimidating yet stylish at the same time, great for my few appearances in public. I got it from an old friend after receiving my first command. Unfortunately he's passed on.

What's your biggest regret?
