Hi all you lovely Bristol Steampunks: I know that absolutely all of you are incredibly keen to join us for the national flash mob on said day - and worry not, here is what we will be doing to introduce our culture and beauty to the public: we are meeting at 12 o'clock at the pick-up point for the steam train at the SS Great Britain, board for the 2 minute train ride (a single ticket is £2.00)to the M-Shed (which is a lovely new industrial museum) and then a visit to said museum (free entry) and should we then need a tea or two there are many places round the harbour who serve such drinks - the Watershed or the Arnolfini. That gives us a lot of public visibility. Any other suggestions or different ideas welcome. So who's joining us for this grand day out? Smiley

Unfortunately, this clashes with Bovey Tracey carnival, so I will not be able to make this.  Although, I will be at the Gloucestershire Steam & Vintage Extravaganza at South Cerney airfield on Friday 5th August, so  I will look out to see if anyone else is there.
