I once dropped a piano on a man who was making fun of banjo players.

As a game master mistress, I used to drop cows on characters who got too pesky.

Sorry, I always wanted to learn how to play the piano.
My parents gave me a guitar. "The kid wants to make music? here, take this!"
I didn't get lessons though. They just thought, I'd learn that on my own. Gave up after a few weeks. I never wanted a guitar anyway.

All I really wanted was, to play the piano - and sing.
By the time I finished school, I wanted to study singing (as in opera or at least musical) at our university. Wasn't accepted. My singing was good enough for the course, but I couldn't play piano and that was mandatory.
*sigh*

Oddly enough, my parents forced PIANO on me!  My mum had wanted to learn, and so sent me off for lessons...  Never really wanted to learn, though.

HOPEFULLY, I'll be adding Piano lessons within the next year-I just have to get more proficient myself!

Sunrise over the turquoise mountains, messenger birds in sight

They came up through the valley, both sides at a time

Through the cold steady rain Raid! I bend down

Poke a double decker on a llama. Llama, Taboot Taboot

Trigger a blastoplast, ramshackle laker recedes I start to run

It was the loudest thing I'd ever heard And I knew my time had come

How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

If by "Cool," you mean owning more gear than a music store, YES I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY!

If, however, you mean "Cool," by nasty beard, and not bathing?  I'm'a give that one a miss...

Well okay the beards are a little gnarly. But the style man, the style. The flair. When ZZ Top walks out on stage they're the coolest cats on earth, I'm convinced of that. And Billy Gibbons is one heck of a guitar player.

(Also, I want every one of Dusty's basses. All of them.)

I would ALSO like every one of Dusty's basses.

I would like to correct your above statement, though-it SHOULD read:

"When ZZ Top walks out on stage, they're the coolest cats on earth, in THEIR minds, anyway.  And Billy Gibbons is a great if somewhat sloppy guitar player."

At least, that's the way I read it... Wink

This just in...The Not So Secret Society has moved to a new location, due to some recent reconstruction in the area.  The building was er...reconstructed, somewhat.  Not to worry though, most everyone/thing is still alive and kicking.  Unless they aren't...and then that could be concerning.

But on the bright side...stay tuned for more not so secret adventures.

Something about a chocolate bar and a careless scientist. Or was that the story of how they discovered warp drive?

Anyone read "Ctrl+Alt+Del"?
