I'm enjoying my home made eggplant parmigiana right now and have no one to share it with.

I wish. I am waiting to find out the results of how the town's council meeting went. I'm a bit of a rabble rouser especially when it involves companies and government lying to people.

In the past few minutes Ive been wizzing around this site making slightly inapropriate posts, perhaps I should stay here a while. Does anyone want some extremely thick home-made orange flavour hot chocolate? I can't seem to finish it off.

From the "Its too good to be even remotely believable" Department: I was on eBay looking at fossils, when I came across this beauty: Purportedly a dragonfly caught in Baltic Amber. Considering that even tiny bugs in cloudy amber go for rather large sums of money, something like this should be worth thousands, yes? Heck, a large piece of amber that clear even without the bug is worth quite a bit. Their asking price: 99 cents. Wait, it gets better. Now it's painfully obvious that it's fake. I added it to my watch list, thinking I may get it anyway just for the novelty. Resumed my search... oh, look, there's another one! Same picture, same description, being sold by a different vendor but from the same part of China. Oo, another one! Again, same picture, same description, being sold by yet another vendor from the same part of China. Finally I did a search for "amber Dragonfly Ball", and got about thirty hits. All with the same picture. All from the same town in China. Some of them had bids on them; I honestly hope those bidders had the same realization i did, and don't think they're getting something fabulously valuable here.

I was a paleontology nut when I was a kid and actually got a rubber ball on birthday that looked exactly like that, even the size. I loved that thing.

I think I had something like that when i was a kid, too. So looooooong ago.... I decided to pass on the obvious fakes today, and instead got a nice polished piece of coprolite. I can't wait to see the looks on my daughters' faces when I tell them what it is.
