I've not slept in 20someodd hours, I'm high as a kite, and in a good mood.
NOW I'm going to bed, I think anyway... I may just be going to lie awake in my bed, stareing at the celing for the next four and a half hours, watching the shadows turn into colours as the AC kicks on and off.
I fogot just how AWESOME my medications are!

Staring at the ceiling fan is good fun. Find a small object and try to throw it between the fan blades, have it hit the ceiling and come back to you. When i'm bored or thinking, i do that. Keeps me well entertained.

last time I was really ill, it was down to an previously undiagnosed allergy to the letter 'Q', brought on by excessive consumption of red liquorice bootlaces.
Also, my teeth swelled to twice their usual size.
Never again, Haribo!

After years of careful consideration and thought I have come to the conclusion that Star Wars was rubbish when I first saw it in 1978 and, if anything, it's become more rubbish as time has passed.
At least I can honestly say that I'm part of a minority group and mean it.

And Harry Potter's a crock of sh** as well. Eh. We agree there. The one I get hell for is Tolkein. I could live without him. He tells a good story, but he's far too fond of the string of his own words and it shows through all his writing. But in general, I dislike authors telling me how smart they are. I'd rather make that judgement without the extra helping of their smugness in the work.

I'd rather make that judgement without the extra helping of their smugness in the work. I thouroughly enjoy both J.R.R. and J.K.! As well as C.S., and T.H.. Cant help it, I really like the stories! I will grant sometimes the stories of Middle-Earth DO get a bit... verbose, but I still hold them in high regard. However, it's fine if you don't like 'em. If we were all the same, it would be a very, VERY bland world. VERY bland indeed! Just as long as we all agree that Twilight is a useless heaping pile of cow dung, we're good...

Catch 22 is a brilliant satire and even a reasonable movie. I've worked out why I didn't rate Star Wars in 1977/8. Because.. The Boys In Company C The Choirboys Close Encounters Of The 3rd Kind Cross Of Iron Demon Seed The Duellists Eraserhead Kentucky Fried Movie Martin Soldier Of Orange Sorcerer Suspiria ...were all better movies. Well, to me they seemed better movies.

Eraserhead When I went to see that with a pal back in the 70's, as the film ended and the lights came up a rather uncultured voice behind said "Well! What a pile of old sh!t that was!" and without missing a beat my pal says " Ah! See we have the film critic from The Sunin this screening!"

I just learned the hard way that boxer shrimp actually use those massive claws of theirs to terrify and maim any living creature that shares its water. Its going back to the shop tomorrow. Also, one of its arms has fallen off.
