Thread-Jack v.: To take over the content of a message thread by changing the subject of discourse to a topic outside the purview of the original subject and/or forum, while maintaining the subject line.

Thread-jacking happens, and while it may be rude, it is often fun. I find this practice at interminible odds with my sense of decorum, and yet, I often cannot help myself. "There are often side-topics that need exploration!" "There are people with opinions that I want to suss out!" "This will be funny"... The list of reasons is nearly as long as the number of trains we've derailed.

So, in that vein, here's a place to do so without moral retribution and in the spirit of fun. And perhaps we'll all get to know each other a little better in the process.

I, however, have no idea what the first topic shall be. Feel free to start by diverting attention away from my pondering.

I believe we should have a discourse on the savoury nature of cheese and other dairy-related products!

Now, who likes cheese?

Random signs are glorious. The best sign I've seen in a while was up in the southern teir of New York, and it said "Rose Bookays $10.00"

Thread-Jacking a Thread-Jacking Thread is putting BACK the topic of the first poster.
So, who has ever Thread-jacked before?

There's somebody won an honourable mention in the Darwin Awards for following that advice to the letter.

My own favourite sign I've ever seen is this:
