Thou shalt not use your spouse's wire cutters/strippers to cut spiral steel corset boning- you will end up owing said spouse a new one....
Thou shalt replace this tool right away, or you will NEVER hear the end of it..

Given I lent a friend of mine my bolt cutters forthat exact purpose - I can relate!

Thou shalt use only approved, clearly-marked containers to store thy inflammable liquids, and thou shalt use those containers to store only the liquids for which they are marked. Thou shalt never use gasoline cans to store the muck thou hast flushed out of the bottom of the diesel storage tank.

An thou fail to obey this rule, thou art not permitted surprise when said muck finds its way into a lawn-mower's gas tank. (Seriously! I'm actually supposed to smell it before I start pouring?!?)

Thou shalt not use duck tape, which got its name from cotton duck, the fabric from which it gets its strength, on ducts in your heating and cooling system.

Note to Mr. Zephron:  The million or so good folks of Phoenix - who are referred to as "Phoenicians" would beg to differ, and differ most strongly, with the opinion expressed at how they should spell the name of their city.  Named for the (possibly) mythical Phoenix, the bird which regenerates itself from its own ashes, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_%28mythology%29 Phoenix is a most interesting city - it was even host to the World Science Fiction Convention.

Cheers!

Chas.
