looking for a black tie (the wide style victorian ones..not sure of the correct name)
also brown wool trousers, tried ebay, no good.
any help would be appreciated!

Would that be a cravat/ascott you are trying to find? There are quite a few on ebay, and if you can't find a good one, you can use a scarf

If it's cravats any 'gents' outfitters should do one (I get mine in Chichester)
The suit rental places usually sell neckware...
Try the wedding outfitters as well...
Or ask Rosie down at Help The Aged to look out for one for you might be able to help with the trousers as well...

I recommend wedding outfitters for a selection of cravats, my local such shop hires them out for £15 a time, or sells them for £30- so wear it twice and it's paid for itself!
