Since the pinup playing card deck never happened, I will send along my 'jack of spades' photo as well for this project, since it's a different outfit and photoshoot from the ones I already sent.

I'm very glad to see the calendar-thing is still up and running. Smiley
And I could have a look at my wardrobe and available photographers over here, if needed.
May I ask, though, if there still is a 2010 calendar (I believe that one was the one with me in it, at least)?

Apologies for dropping off the face of the board there for a bit. Been getting busy with the holidays coming up and a big household change (buying a vintage printing press and have to do some work to the shed before the press can be delivered) and on top of that, the board software managed to stop telling me there were new posts to any of the threads I'm watching! <sighs> I'm out of town at the moment, but will post more in the next couple of days.

Do you still need photos? I am trying to encourage one of the frenzy gals to submit this one, although she wonders if it's too dieselpunk.

Oh, there's no denying that it's decidedly dieselpunk.  My first thought when I saw it was "That'd not look amiss over some sailor's bunk in the Pacific Theatre, or even on the back of a deck of cards."  If your first thought is World War II, than it must needs be dieselpunk.

However, at least from where I'm sitting, this calendar seems to be in a bit of dire straights.  It would be foolhearty, in my opinion, to throw out such a fine pinup, when that could in fact, jeopardize the entire operation.  That is something I could not abide, not when I've been promised some of the loveliest ladies (yourself not least among them!) on this forum.  'Twould be a pitty and a shame were we to be deprived of such a thing, in particular if this picture could have saved it from falling.

Obviously, the final decision lies with Mephit, but my personal opinion is she'd make a rather fine Miss July!

I've got a steampunk pin-up photo shoot scheduled next week with a very amazing group of women (and some men). I know a few of them have expressed interest in submitting some images for the calendar. Not sure how short of images Mephit is, but I think I have 10 models with 6 of them saying they could submit something if there's still room. I'll post up some pics after the photo shoot!

We cannot afford to take any new ones of Mr C, but we have some older ones of him looking dapper, would they be ok?

I'm of two minds on this photo. She's a gorgeous lady and the photo is excellently taken. She'd definitely be something I'd pin-up on my wall! But it's also definitely very diesel and not very steam at all. I'm happy to take any submissions at this point and hers especially, but I think if I do wind up getting enough in the way of steamy shots I may leave this one out. If I can't get enough she might well make it in, though.

Sure. Nothing saying they have to be brand new photos. I'm happy to take older photos just as much as new. Please feel free to send them on!

Are you still looking for submissions?  I'm new here, but certainly not new to modelling.  My husband takes my pictures (see profile pic)

Whatever became of this project?
I only got seven submissions after cajoling folks for almost a year on multiple threads. Frankly, I'm not willing to put in the many hours of design time necessary to make the calendar to the quality I am willing to produce if I can't even get enough submissions to properly fill it out. Yes, I probably could have used duplicate submissions and the like to bulk out the calendar, but that just seems cheesy to my mind and besides, If I can't even get 12 folks to send me a picture or two out of how many on this forum, how many people are likely to buy one later? It just seems to me the interest was not there.

Thank you sir. I was and am quite proud of it. It saddens me I wasn't able to do it again. Perhaps another year. But not right now.
