Submitted pictures, requested waivers, have heard nothing back as of yet-is this thing still ago? I know I missed the submission deadline by just under a day, but if someone could let me know one way or the other, so if my pictures are NOT to be used, I can post 'em elsewhere on the site?  Also, I'm still waiting on the waiver to be sent to me via email, so yeah... We are indeed still on. I was just out of town for the weekend. You can, however, feel free to post your photos elsewhere on the site if you'd like. I'm OK with them being both in the calendar and on the web somewhere. As to the waiver, I've sent you the file now. Wonderful! I'll probably be filling it out digitally (just type my name?) in the PDF whatsits... Assuming I get enough individual submissions to fill a complete calendar, yes. I have received multiple photos from several people, but I feel that it's best to limit each person to a single month so that no-one feels that we're favoring some folks over others. I currently have submissions from five members. The calendar is (of course) at least 12 months and I prefer to make it a 14 month one if possible. That means I need at least 7 more submissions, folks! 9 would be best! |

Here's a whatif for worstcase scenario: You've got 5, you get one more, one person for two months-likewise if you get 2 more, and it can still be a 14 month. Not IDEAL, I know-but that way it still moves forward assuming a lack of bodies... |

Not a bad idea except I don't have multiple photos of everyone. In addition to Lady A's wonderful idea, if you've only one shot of a person, could you not make it to where it's one picture to cover two months? I'm unsure as to how the layout of these things are normally done-just trying to help! |

Uh, you did note her comment that the project petered out, yes? I don't think they ever got enough submissions to make a complete deck and so nothing was ever printed. Though I believe Darkshines was to be the Queen of Hearts. We need to get THAT going again! We'd need 12 people, and 2 more for jokers make 14... I'm'a do some reasearch over the weekend, if I have the time, and I'll see what I can come up with as far as getting it done. Cards and me... We're inseperable! EDIT: Better idea-16 bodies. 8 Lovely Ladies, and 8 Fine Fellows. The Aces and Queens will be Ladies, the Jacks and Kings the Gents. I suppose I could be the Joker, as it's the least seen card in the deck. Will make a thread tomorrow afternoon after work, see who all bites... |

I was more attempting to appeal to both the ladies AND gents, but the beauty of an all lady deck has NOT been lost upon me! I'll make the initial thread, post some prices I've found, and we'll see what kind of interest it generates. Look for the thread in... I guess anatomical? EDIT: Actually, would it be better to make a NEW topic, or revive the OLD thread? *scratches head* While I await an answer, I'll find pricing on custom decks etc. |

Sorry I disappeared, life held me hostage and then a virus mowed me down. I managed to wiggle free and am well again.
Is there a date when everything really must be underway in order to get the calendar out in time? Wondering if my cohort in crime Mr. Bagdaddy has time to submit a photo as well.
