*note: if this is the wrong area for this post i am terribly  sorry mods*

i have not posted in ages here, i am very sorry for that. i have missed ye olde steamers, however i have been busy in the pursuit of many a hobby. im in the works of a book of lovecraftian short stories with three other authors, and perhaps a short film from that book, making jewelry, relearning to hula hoop, and just this week im getting back into fire spinning (met some old, old firebug buds at the local art walk. dear gods of steam ive missed them!)

but my latest and oldest love, at the same time no less, is fiber art. we all know about crochet yes? and knitting? well let me introduce you to yarn bombing here is an example:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
you can also visit www.yarnbombing.com

to yarn bomb is to cover random objects in crochet or knitting. though i have been a fiber artist for a few years now, yarn bombing is new for me. So knew that next month at the Joplin,MO art walk (on the third thursday of the month) ill be showing my first yarn bomb exhibition  at the restaurant Instant Karma! now i will be tagging under the monicker "The Aviatrix" (im known all over town for my aviator hat figured id just go with it) which brings me to the reason for my post here:

I need a nifty steampunky looking graphic that i can print out as an actual tag to attach too my art. though i know crochet like a deamon i know little about graphic art. so here i am appealing to all you lovely graphic artists. can some one make me some thing like that with maybe some goggles or an avaition (and girly) twist too it? please feel free to put your information on said tag for credit and i would credit you on my facebook when i post pics of my art.

Cheers!

Eliza "the Aviatrix"

OOOh! I's a big fan of any type of street art, Knitffitti included!

Hmm, that explains the knitting around lamp posts and fences in the area here.

and i believe in the UK this is referred to as "yarnstorming"

sorry it took me so long to reply do to the tragedy in my home town i was without net since sunday. but i must be thankful atleast i had power, my loved ones, and a roof over my head.

i do still plan to yarnbomb a local restaurant i think now more than ever people neeeed to smile and seeing crochet in absurd places makes people smile
