Looking fantastic, really good to see you making another leap forward with this project; mostly because I can't wait to see it finished! hehe!

Looking great, really liking those tiles. The shower gel is jumping the gun a bit though isn't it?

There's another down the hall. Turn left at the Kraken. Be sure to replace the paper if you use the last.

Guys, I am so sorry about the neglect.

The problem is with a project such as this, is that it gets put on hold for the bigger issues of life.

This year the little one started school, our car died (just as it fell out of new car warranty) and the tiler's business in the States is booming (so he's only available at select times, and our computer bit the big one.

Rest assured work is being done, the tiling is almost complete, the toilet is installed (and working).

A proper update with pics included will be made shortly.

Joeynana:

Yes, life gets in the way of art and fun all the time.  Hope you can dig yourself out.

You helped inspire me to build a submarine workshop.
I'm sorry I could not wait for you.  I took off running to build my room
and I finished it before you were done with your room.

Thank you for your inspiration.

My pleasure Cap'n... Any time.  Things are not likely to pick up for me anytime soon unfortunately. I sound like a broken record in saying this, however my bathroom is for the mos part finished, i'm now at that part where cost gets in the way. Taps, basin, benchtop... and my wife is adamant about what she wants too (and it is not cheap).

That is absolutely incredible!  We're about to remodel our bathroom; is Mrs. Forge in for a surprise or what when she sees my design proposal?  Cheesy

Please do tell me that I am not the only one that first thought that the sign, in the picture of the shirtless fellow, said "cannabis" rather than "Cabins".

The above picture is a weeks worth of sanding and lacquering, sanding and lacquering... Until it was smooth as a babies behind, and looked like a sheet of glass.

I'm not so sure about the mirror, a close friend of mine loves it, I'm however not convinced.  It was a cheap find at a local thrift shop that I sprayed in a gold/brass colour. It'll stay there 'till I find something better... Or it grows on me.

Just brilliant!!
I am in the 'this is what I want done' stage with the builder - I wonder what would happen if I showed him your photos!
The are beautiful tiles, by the way.

I LOVE that reddish tint!  What brand/color stain have you used and what kind of wood?
