I've recently painted part of this in ivory, pics to follow of that. Lady Clankington's kitchen mixer? Wait 'till you see the turkey baster model. The Master Baster? Interesting ideas. I suppose this weapon could be said to fill a hole in the market. Would it be classed as a 'Concealed Carry'?

Here's a ladies pistol and cross draw belt/holster rig I just finished. The adjustment buckle is in the back and there is snaps on each side of the front buckle for convenience. ~SOTW~ I "second" Steam Titan's opinion!! Gorgeous work! ~DD/Levi P. Darkside 3rded, lovely work

The EID Mark IV. Just finished this although it is quite long (~ 2 1/2 feet) so I am considering adding a front grip.

I'd have to say that's a pretty UN-typical Nerf Maverick, nicely done with both there! And welcome to the forum!

Professor Elliott: Could you please post (or link to) some larger photos of your creations? I'd rather like to have a closer look at the details, as they look simply wonderful! On to business. I've noticed a certain something in the air this past week... whilst ailments of the respiratory and gastro-intestinal tracts are what keep us safe from Martian invasion, they're a perishing nuisance when you're brought low at a major event. To that end, I have created a medical aid - an aether weapon which can be brought to bear against the bacteria and viruses which queue up to spoil our fun! Click to embiggen, as the Bishop said to the actress. You can energise it with any portable power supply unit (one from a field-portable Ripling Samovar is ideal) - it's size is a virtue as great precision is required to zap those little blighters, and the limited power output ensures that the patient can scrape by with only minor collateral damage.

Greetings! This is my first post here and these are my first attempts at some weapons.. The first is a scratch-built offering - the second is a typical Naff Maverick Rev-6 for my 12 year-old son.. Hope you like! I am not a fan of Nerf Gun modifications, but there is always the exception that proves the rule... There is no way on this earth that a 12 year old boy has been good enough to deserve such an awesome weapon!. but your scratch built.... beyond words... superb...

Hope you like! Something about that scratch build feels historically familiar. Any historical basis in the grip and trigger guard shape? Due to this point, I like it A LOT in that it has a certain realistic grounding that makes it seem like it would actually work. Great job on both!

Thank you all for your kind comments! This is a new genre for me in respect of making and converting so all your comments are very much appreciated. Fineas Sqidd Wrote... Any historical basis in the grip and trigger guard shape? Not really! I simply had to make something comfortable that fitted with the shape of the 'barrel' section. It's a wooden core with padded and quilted leather covering. Major Twangy Rubber Wrote... Professor Elliott: Could you please post (or link to) some larger photos of your creations? Certainly! Try these... Hopefully they will post large enough this time!

Professor Elliott, Delightful elaboration there! The pipefitting is excellently well done. Are you using tube or rod for those parts? If it's tube, then you have a very neat hand with a pipe bender to avoid kinking on such tight curves. Meanwhile, my own efforts continue with a go at getting a pattern for a grip that can be done as a resin cast.

Excellent piece. Only negative would be the rubber tip on the door stop. Otherwise outstanding.
