Glad you liked!   "Cresia" is derived from ancient Greek, meaning "from Crete."

Nephele - have you ever seen the BBC production of "Oliver's Travels"?  It stars Alan Bates, and his character is almost obsessed with anagrams.  Quite interesting.

My scramble would be

aaaeubjlmmrsstt

Gender: Male, of course.

Cheers, and Thanks!

I'm quite partial to the last two ...
It's got 'hazard' in the name - most fitting.

The Z in the third will be Zyxxyx (Zixxiss)

Stumpman, glad you enjoyed, and keep on writing!

Captain Lyerly, I hadn't heard of Oliver's Travels, but I'll look for it now!

You are most definitely a major in some branch of military service:

Maj. B.A. Rustmetals
Maj. Albertus Mast
Maj. Battarus Elms
Maj. Attus Rambles

= aaaeubjlmmrsstt

*********************************************

Birdnest, I think Zyxxyx will make a fine middle name for you!  When I first saw that, I thought it was Zyzzyx (a genus of South American sand wasp).

darkshines, glad you liked.  I'm pretty sure that "Aurore," though, is the French form of the Latin "Aurora" – which literally means "dawn" and the name of the Roman goddess of the morning.  Perhaps there's a variety of rose named "Aurore" that you were thinking of?

Aurora Borealis (The Northern Lights) means "Rose of the North" in Latin, similarly Aurora Australis means "Rose of the South". In Sleeping Beauty the princesses name is Aurora.

Ah, I see where you're getting the "rose" from.  The Roman goddess Aurora is figuratively referred to in Latin poetry as "the rosy-fingered dawn."  Because rose is a color of sunrise.  But the Latin word aurora does literally mean "dawn; daybreak; morning."

Try "Dawn-light of the North" and "Dawn-light of the South" for the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis. Smiley

I wish I had your creativity, but I seam to always end up in common names when I try to anagram those scrambles  Tongue

My scramble: rrncajaaniietofaoeg

I am a lady per se, but concerning my personality, and if that has any influence in your choice of names, I think I could be compared to Jo March, the tomboy character of Louisa May Alcott's novel Little Women.

I thank you in advance!
