"No worries, I've dozed off myself several times, there isn't much to do aboard a ship. I'd be happy for you to take all the weapons, just please don't touch any of them. I'm not sure how they work and a few exploded at random when they appeared. You really don't want to blow a hole in the side of the ship. If you take me to them with a dozen or so bags and some strong men I'll help to do it now."

Longeye nodded, "That's a good point, who knows what could happen. Alright." They shortly reached the portion of the ship given over to the troops and Longeye spoke directly to the commander. "My good man, we need you and your troops to bring any weapons you have with you to the cabin of my friend here" he indicated Griffiths "and leave them in his care. It's not that we don't trust you, but weapons from the future could seriously mess with our timeline and we'd all rather avoid that. Will you comply?" The man looked like he was going to refuse for a moment, before nodding slowly and barking orders for his men to form up. "How's that Professor? We shall we go?" Longeye muttered to him.

"Yes, lets go." He lead them to his cabin and opened the door and indicated a large trunk at the end of his cot.
"Please place all your weapons, and I do mean ALL in the trunk, knives too. Then I'll speak with Daingerfield and get you all weapons form our armory."

The men filed in and placed guns, smaller guns, spheres, pipes and then an assortment of knives each into the chest. By the time they had finished it was quite full, and the men were looking decidedly less bulky. "Excellent, if you want to head off to your rooms again I'll tell you when you can get new weapons." Longeye ordered, and they trooped off. "Professor, how far do you think we are from Cairo?" Longeye asked, checking his watch. He had half an hour.

"Little less than and hour I suspect. Daingerfield will set down outside Cairo so we don't attract much attention. I'm far more worried about what is going to happen to Madd, not that he doesn't deserve it, I saw the brutality of his actions in Atlanta and on Shermans march. Filthy business. He treated the dead like they were nothing more than a animal that had died of disease and needed disposing of."
He shook his head and looked away.
"Was Madd important to your mission Captain?"

"Every person we have is important. We have no idea how big this is, or how much it effects. My concern is that when it comes to it we won't be able to do anything, and the chances of that are lessened with every person. Remember, Madd may have had no respect for the dead but he's lived for a long time in the jungles, and what more do you do with dead in the jungle? They aren't honoured or venerated, they're a burden." Longeye glanced at his watch again, 25 minutes. He'd have to move soon.

Madd was busy. Looking nervously both ways, he began rubbing the edges of his stolen fork against the metal barsm back and forth, grinding a crude edge onto the handle of the flatware..Satisified with the edge, he wrapped the head of the fork in his kerchief, and tucked it into his pith helmet.

A world and several spacetime shifts away, the newly-elevated Lady Sally Kemmermann (her investiture having taken place upon her nineteenth birthday) peered into an ornate, complicated -yet still rather makeshift - Interdimensional scrying array, watching the events involving Yarrow, Longeye, Madd and the others unfold.
"Idiot," she said, as Yarrow blew his top. "are you really going to force me to use the Wilberforce Machine and come all the way to Egypt and your current helical coordinates and bail you out, Ennis? You smoke-brained fool..." The fact that Yarrow could not possibly hear her fuming seemed not to deter her from it in the slightest. "LANFORTH!" she bellowed to the closed door in the forward bulkhead of her cabin aboard the family yacht. The door burst open and in came the aforememtioned servant, a huge, burly, swarthy monstrosity of a butler, done up to the nines in standard black wool-and-linen butler paraphernalia.
"Milady thundered?" Lanforth answered, a gleam of what looked like affection mixed with amusement in his eyes.
"None of your lip, Lanforth. Go and bring me the box. You know which one I mean, I presume?"
"Of course, Milady. A moment." The mountainlike servant turned on hi heel and strode off to do his mistress' bidding.
"Can't have you galloping all over the skies like a flying coney, Ennis Yarrow, You'll have us drinking tea with chinese cavemen in Whitehall if we're not careful..." She picked up the talking crystalline array and set it up to call The Royal Palace Exchange. "yes? Please connect me with Mission Services. Ah, milord? Yes, about the stones affair and Yarrow's disappearance. Yes, I 'm afraid so. please tell his Majesty to have faith. I shall either return forthwith or see the matter to its conclusion. No, I think I shall go by myself, thank you. The offer is appreciated, however."

Longeye nodded to the professor and excused himself, strolling to his cabin to collect his weapon, before going to the hold to grab a few of Madd's items. He grabbed all the bladed weaponry he could, as well as the blowpipe and several pouches of things. There was a small case with various darts in it, which he grabbed as well, and lastly some tins and boxes he didn't look inside. He slipped it all into one of the ships bags and left for the cells.

Balthazar stood with Daingerfield.
"You realize that leaving places you out of our range to help you."
"I do, Captain, but this needs to be done. You spoke with General Hughes?"
"I did, amazing how this device uses the supposed natural magnetics of the planet to send communication. He has named you a Special Agent working for the U.S Government. Do try to keep in contact with us."
"I will, once I know more."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Balthazar had gathered all of Longeye's party together and he had given knives and Pneumatic Revolvers to each of the British Soldiers.
"I trust you understand the simplicity, yet the necessary aspects of keeping these weapons operational?"
The Commander responded with indignation that an American would dare question his ineptitude with weaponry. Soon Cairo was in sight.
"Ten Minutes gentleman."
Longeye paused for a moment, he let out a breath and closed his eyes. Now it was time to act, and he had no place for hesitation or slowed reactions. He let everything of himself drift away until there was only one point of light left in his mind; the plan. He took off, feet not making a sound he raced along a corridor. A soldier rounded the corner five meters ahead of him, but Longeye had heard him coming and leapt. The butt of his weapon caught the man in the temple and he dropped without a sound. The door to the cell was next to him now, and he opened it without a sound, then whirled inside taking out both men before they could turn from Madd.
The Door creaked open as Madd peered out, looking both ways, accepting his gear from Longeye.
"I suggest we get our crew and escape this vessel as soon as possible. They'll never find us in Cairo. In the meantime, let's lock these two up, so they can't sound an alarm when they wake up"
"They'll be out for fifty minutes and wake up unable to move for a further ten. Give or take. Our group should be disembarking now, you can go and meet up with them right away if you want to. I'm going to head to the bridge and disable this thing for a while."
"I think I should probably get below alone first. That way, If I am noticed, I won't endanger your crew. I'll be nearby when you descend. Alright, then.. See you in Cairo.. " Madd said and crept down the hall, khukri in hand. Arriving finally at the deck, he saw a group of aeronauts lowering a sky-anchor to moor them At Cairo's bustling airship hangar. He let them drop anchor and waited for the ground crew below to lock the anchor into its mooring, (Longeye, I assume Hannibal was in Madd's bags) and then for the men to move on, before he slilently donned his heavy snake-handling gloves and descended like an amazon sloth, the cable to the street below.
He hoped Longeye and company followed suit before his own absence was discovered.
[Yup, something like that  ] Longeye leapt from the room as soon as Madd was out of earshot and continued his silent sprint through the ship. Down this corridor, up this flight of stairs, through doors one two and three, take out both guards at the ladder, take the ladder down to the gondola, wait at the door. He listened carefully and could hear six different footsteps and three other voices, one of which sounded like the captain. He felt the gentle bump as the ship dropped its anchors and heard the light whine of the engines as they went into reverse to stop the ship, then shut off. It was now of never. The door was opened by someone, and with a jab he was out cold. Before he had hit the floor Longeye pulled him out of the way and entered the room himself, to be confronted with eight people. Without pausing he hit one crewman in the temple, before whipping the naginata round to hit another in the stomach, and a third across the face before any of them even noticed he was there. He was careful to pull his hits somewhat so he hurt or incapacitated them, but didn't do anything fatal or permanent. the two remaining crewmen ran for lockers that, presumably, held weaponry of some kind. Longeye ignored them for the moment, focussing on the three gentlemen, two of whom had swords and the third was Dangerfield levelling a gun. "Captain Longeye, what do you think you are doing?!" He shouted in rage, the gun not wavering. Longeye paused for a moment, considering what to do. Dangerfield would shoot given any reason, and looked to be a good shot at that. He would have to do this perfectly or it was going to go wrong quickly and dramatically. He pulled his naginata in slowly, resting the bottom on the floor and holding it loosely as if he were about to surrender, then when the muscles in the other two men's hands relaxed, he kicked the end of it and dodged to one side, pulling as hard as he could. The tip shot through the air and caught the barrel of the gun, sending it flying over Dangerfield's head and out of his grip. The two crewmen beside him drew their swords, but before either of them could do anything they received a sharp jab to the stomach each and crumpled. Dangerfield raised his hands in surrender, a loathing expression on his face. "So what now, eh? You take this ship? Kill the lot of us? What do yo-" and he didn't even hear the whistle as the the naginata clipped him in the side of the head and knocked him out. Longeye then paused again and let out a breath. There was a BANG and Longeye felt a sharp sting in his shoulder, he looked down and there was a cut along his arm that was starting to bleed heavily. He looked up and saw the two crewmen pointing guns at him, and realised one of the bullets must have clipped him. Diving under a table he lashed out, knocking them both to the floor before jabbing one in the temple again and the other in the arm, making him drop the gun. With both of them out he cursed himself for being so stupid as to forget them, and set about shutting off the ship and destroying the controls. Hopefully Madd had made it out by now, and the rest of the group were moving off. Those gunshots would surely be noticed.
" I hope he's alright." Madd said, as he made it to the ground, were several Egyptian Hangar-men were busily locking the sky-anchor into place. He barely noticed Madd's landing as He made a beeline across the street to a kebab vendor and using the British Pounds he had on his person, bought a kebab and took a seat on the corner, snacking.
All of Longeyes men, or so it seemed, had disembarked and were waiting. As Balthazar prepared to leave he heard the shot of one of the older model pistols. He knew it ws from the bridge, Daingerfield and the bridge crew liked the older guns cause they could give off a nice sound and signal there was a problem. He ran for the bridge and found it was occupied but several unconscious men and one very determined looking Captain Longeye.
Balthazar didn't draw his revolver this time, he pulled off his back his Pneumatic Shotgun and leveled it on Longeye.
"What, in the name of all that is Holy, are you doing Captain Longeye?" He looked around at the bodies of the men and couldn't tell if they were alive or not.
"You didn't just kill the whole bridge crew did you? Longeye.......you betrayed me........"
The look in his eye was of uncertainty, but then it flashed to cold, ruthless.
"If you can kill me before I shoot, you'll be free, otherwise, you die here and now. Or you could surrender to me."
He had disembarked but decided to stay around the ship. That was when he heard Balthazzar. Longeye was dependable and decently driven he had decided so he made it his duty to defend the man. He burst on to the bridge where a large number of men lay unconscious around Longeye and Balthazzar had an intimidating shotgun pointed at him. He swept out his knife and had it at Balthazzar's throat before even a second had passed. "Everyone talks before anyone dies." he spat directly into the man's ear. There was always a reason. The only place reasonless killers existed were the Dutch Bloodsport circuits and wherever Dr Madd was.
"We are taking Madd with us, we can't afford not to. You're crew are all alive, a few will have headache and that man down there" he pointed to the one cradling his arm "will have a dreadful bruise for about a week. The controls are fried, the ship isn't going anywhere until you fix them which will take at least a week if you have an engineer on board. You shot that Professor, I won't die I and can guarantee it... you probably will though. Let's not do anything rash, lower the gun before someone gets a bit jumpy and does something silly."
