Enter Miss/Lady Sally. despite her apparent youth, she has already dealt with three major temporal crises, one of which threatened the crowned heads of Europe directly. She is also the hereditary Head of the House Kemmermann, the rulers of the Palace of Time; her rank is somewhere close to that of a baroness. The "Wilberforce Machine" alluded to is a time-and-space machine of sorts, but it's not really quite that simple.
She's hopefully going to shake Yarrow up a bit and take him down a few pegs, If I'm able to wangle that...

I'm about to break Madd out of the ship as he was arrested (for exactly what we aren't sure yet), Yarrow is about to be taken down a few pegs, we're not quite sure how Griffiths is going to react to having a prisoner he dislikes being broken out of his (not exactly his but a sip he affiliates with) ship... and when in Cairo I've got something planned that will move things in a more conclusive way.
As far as Ethan goes, he's been following along to my knowledge (unless you don't want him to have been) and is on the ship, about to disembark and walk the little way to Cairo with everyone else.

First off, My sincere and abject apologies for just dropping off of the map.
A few friends' deaths, other friends' catastrophic illnesses, and various other events sort of derailed me from my regular track; then, a friend asked me to take a look at an anime for steampunk elements, and I did -- and then got off on a tangent of anime 'addiction' (that is to say, watching anime almost 24/7 because I've always wanted to watch it online, but havent had a suitably fast computer before now); that, coupled with turning 50 and reviewing past life events ad nauseum, has sort of warped and soured my outlook, making my old characters seem alien to me now.
For those reasons, and because of other creative efforts demanding my time and energy, I don't think that I can continue in this or the other RP's, save perhaps for joining at a later date with new characters.
I still intend to keep coming to Brass Goggles, but I just don't think I can keep up in an RP any more, at least at present.
I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

That's no problem at all. I'm sorry to hear about all of that, you've had a tough time. If you ever do want to get involved again you of course can, but it's completely understandable that you'd want to drop your characters. I think it may be game over, Madd. It happens to most games.
Given that our active RPers are all in the HMAS Marigold series now (which is made up of easy, bite-sized stories) and a few are still keeping The New World rolling slowly I doubt we'll get anyone in here. Also, I'm considering the last 'activity' in the game to be from October last year (given that after that it was only posts by you Dr Madd save for one). If Longeye gives a reluctant go-ahead, I'll have to lock this.
