Fergus already being a smith /ironmonger, he'd be inclined to use teh fire to heat Iron &c. for forging. Also, the firebolts probably will be preceded by him heating actual iron bolts and various scrap iron errata that he finds laying around with his hands and throwing it like a knife or stick. (whitehot iron travelling at handthrown velocity is still a pretty formidable weapon), and will only discover the ability tio throw fire incidentally when he runs out of metal bits to toss around. Not sure about Fire Nation -like lightning, that seems to me to infringe on Falko's (or whoever it is's) talent.

Yes it does infringe a bit.
The lightning will be Falko's only aggressive ability. Things like the fog will not be.

sure, probably heat boulders or iron bits forheating. probably melt out metal from ores (orses? lol) if they're pure and prevalent enough. maybe even develop a 'singer' or 'blowtorch' effect for cutting through things... |
