As they've said, the weight would make them a good base for something; At the same time, the weight would make it something that's very difficult to move, and could easily damage any kind of surfaced floor (Linoleum, wood, etc). Given that it's already rusted and looks old, perhaps an outdoor function would better suit it? Lamppost base, mailbox base... Think bases, as I don't think you're going to want to right anything with 100 pounds atop it more than a foot or so off the ground unless there's no possible way of it tipping, sliding, or falling over and injuring someone.

If you had some sort of adamantium shelves, you could use them for bookends.
Or, as an alternative, plane them down and mount them to your car as hubcaps. Better, cut two in half and do the same.

only a little more steampunk then that

That's what I was saying. Something like that for a lamppost. If, in fact, you could cut them in half, I'd say do so, and make twice the number of bases; Even 25 lbs of base should support that with no issues, and there's no need to hide half the gear by having it face the ground.

That really depends on what sort of light you're hoping for. Some sort of gaslight lamp would be astounding; A propane tank at the base, with the properly insulated piping, to some sort of Victorian or Victorian-style lamp? Another option is... You said you had three or four? Perhaps a set of clockwork-themed lawn chairs are in order?
