Is there any way place the pin more precisely than just over your town? I can seem my house and the pin, well, it isn't on it.

I was surprised to see so many people in TN...It seems there really is a reason for the "Athens of the South" moniker other than the Parthenon!  Wink

Quite so indeed, dear neighbor! Actually, Nashville was named the Athens of the South because of the vast number of institutes of higher learning, as well as the huge number of world class publishing houses there.

Which makes it more the sorrow that so many people think of Nashvillians as just a bunch of barefoot backwater guitar players.

Not that there's anything wrong with barefoot backwater guitar players... but they are a small group of the total population. (unless it's fan fair week)

The Frappr maps a great idea, although me thinks it would be useful if you could search for members depending on location, for the making of comradeship in ones local areas.

I'm on there now.

So alone, the closest dot is Chico, and I feel only pity for the poor soul living there.
Damit why is it that although I am in California I have to drive SOUTH 5-6 hours to get to the SF bay area and all it's glories?  Wink

Added myself to the Hopkinsville, KY area, doubtful to find anyone else there, but was excited to see some as close as Nashville.  Also, at this precise moment I am almost within a stone's throw from the chap in Pensacola, Florida.

And it seems the two guys closest to me are Toji Chiba (Hallo nach Kassel!) and elShoggotho (Berlin, Berlin!).
