New to the board and added myself.  My hubby and I are in San Antonio, Texas.  And desperately looking for any others near us.  We're new to steampunk (sort of).  I'm currently working on a few steampunk'd weapons and garb.  Any ideas or pointers would be wonderful!

Giselle and Saphyra (forgive me if I spelled it incorrectly) are right around the corner from me!

I am...?

There are several pins near Newcastle.
I'm aware there are a number of members around the Newcastle/Northumberland area who have not added pins (and have only just added one myself, and therefore cannot cast aspersions)

Now that the map is starting to have a reasonable number of markers (205 as of today), it's quite interesting to look at the distribution of Steampunks as well as the location of individuals.

For instance, the vast majority of markers on continental Europe are in the Netherlands; none in France, Belgium or Italy and only two each in Germany and Spain.

In the UK, there appears to be a sort of empty corridor running roughly from Bristol to the Wash, dividing the island into North & West and South & East.

I doubt whether these distributions are indicative of anything in particular, I just find it interesting to observe the patterns.  :)

Well I couldn't find a pin with a top hat on, but the one with glasses does look a little like me!

Now I am curious who the other icon on Colchester is.

Just added myself. There is no bald guy with glasses icon. The babyface is the one that looks a bit like me. From a far distance.

Well I'm pinned, um...twice  :-[

Is there no way to remove a marker? not that it matters too much at present as I'm the only one there.
