Gosh! By the power of Her Majesty Queen Victoria herself that is a magnificent piece of design and functionality! Good find, sir! Do you have a link to the location of the purveyor?

Oh that is nice! I wonder, in rifle mods such as these, would affixing a brass pocket telescope be feasible for a scope?

(The topic of this post made me picture Christopher Walken dancing and flying.)

A singular piece of craftsmanship!
The "original" was constructed to Moriarty's specifications by a blind German mechanic named Von Herder.
This was the weapon used by Colonel Sebastiian Moran in his attempt to assasinate Holmes.
"The Empty House" was the story in question.
I suspect Conan Doyle would be extremely impressed.

If you removed the shoulder stock from that Victory carbine and refinished it with a suitable faux-metal finish, you'd have quite the beauty of a death-ray.

beautiful firearm, but how could they attach that boring black metal scope to such a work of art? What it needs are a set of polished lenses in open brass framing - practicality be damned!

Ditto!  I think even Ghandi would find beauty in that firearm Grin

That, sir, is absolutely amazing.  Thank you for finding that one.

I do believe that the airsoft sniper rifle conversion has jumped a few places in the project queue, though I know I could not come close to that specimen.

Wow! Thats wonderful. Upon further research, that "airgun" is fully able to take down a buffalo in one shot. Yikes.

I fancy myself something of a swordsman, and so have little experience with projectile weapons, but I daresay that to have one of these delightful contrivances displayed above the mantle piece would indeed make even the most puritanical of melee fighters swell with manish pride.

Thank you very much for sharing these beautiful images!

Likewise... these are indeed things of beauty, even for us pracitioners of the gentlemanly blade.
