I believe that they are imminent, give it a couple of more weeks and they should be available!

Thank you....I will be patient and restrict my pestering to the local nunnery. Roll Eyes

That wasn't a nunnery, it was the penguin enclosure of the local zoo. Easy mistake to make.

So how goes this project? Would any of our dashing conspirators like to give an update, or are we still working on distributing the prototypes?

I wonder if we'll be seeing these (and other splendid things) for sale in retail outlets in the near future...

Hopefully, we'll be be able to let the cat out of the bag about prices and availability soon, and, with any luck, there will be a pleasant surprise that we hadn't even considered about them too...

Ooh..oooh...do they call up a steamy genie if you rub them? Or they can be used to de-code secret messages?

I would very much love one of each of these beautiful rings! Just expressing my interest and making sure I keep up to date on any more news, I know I'm a little late but I'm here now.

Looking forward to hearing more about them Smiley

They'll protect your eyes from flying shards of metal by some sort of magical 'morphic resonance'?

We all put one of the rings on and you have the Master ring, and using The One Ring you hold sway over all Steampunks everywhere...

One ring to rule them all,
one ring to find them,
one ring to bring them all
and in the pub to bind them?

I think "In the pub to find them" is a general Steampunk rule of thumb anyway!

Good news about the rings,

And given that in the time this thread began, we have now opened a shop in Melbourne that sells steampunk artefacts - perhaps 'the manufactory' could be the Australian distributor?

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE!

Major Tinker has pulled out all the stops, and despite having the weight of the ASYLUM on his back, has got the rings into production:

They are cast in the finest lead free pewter, and come in an organza bag with a picture card with care instructions as shown above.

These will be initially available in a gentleman's size of  20mm diameter, UK size U, US size 10¾; and a ladies size of 17mm diameter, UK size N, US size 6¾; they will be available from Major Tinker's Emporium at the ASYLUM, thence after international distribution will be undertaken.

Price is £8.50, 10€, or $15 for both US dollars and Australian.

It's only taken a year!
