Quick update: I've prepared two 'masters' for the manufacture of the rings, one the average size for a chap, the other the average for a lady, I willl hopefully be passing them on for quotation  of costs this weekend...

Oh, how simply marvelous of you. I shall wait out this weekend with baited checkbook.
In smoggiest day, in sooted night
no ignorance shall escape my sight.
Let those who worship ignorance's might,
beware my power... Brass Goggles light!

Fantastic!  My chequebook is close to hand as we speak....
Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

I've a few here that would be more than interested.  If we could get a possible price before the weekend I'll ask the group for some numbers.  If not, I'll still ask.

and I've no idea how I missed this for a month.
Sincerely,
Captain Quinlin Hopkins (Hoppy)

I'd like to put my name down for one (poss. two with Xmas coming up), please.

On a completely unrelated note, the Significant Other has a kidney going spare, anyone want to offer a decent price for it? He doesn't need it, he's got another.

Herr Doktor has completed two models of the ring.  They will be in my sticky paws shortly and I can then investigate the production of moulds for producing them.  All else being equal it is hoped they can be on sale in time for Christmas.

Can I have one with a suitably sized top hat attached, cos my Monopoly set is missing a piece.

And before anyone goes writing off to Waddingtons suggesting a Steampunk edition, just remember I thought of it first. OK.

I think that buff top round cut onyx or garnets would make excellent lenses.

I'm still in for one, by the by. :)

I would also like to be added to the list.

The only thing is I have large, massive hands (heck my wedding ring is a size 14), so I would be interested in a 13 or 14 size ring if possible.

Silver also.

If it can be done in silver, I would be interested, very interested, in procuring one mayhaps two, (myself and my good wife).

Just waiting for Royal Mail to deliver the prototypes- marvellous, living in the future as we do, I have been able to track them all the way to their destination...

...and back to the sorting office, as they failed to deliver them!

Ya! I suggested ShapeWays earlier in the thread. Even better now that they offer silver as well! Shapeways would make it pretty easy to adjust for different sizes as well..
