Technology GAH: I'm sitting out here at the end of a tenuous internet connection so slow I can barely see pictures let alone movement or sound. So, with a new series of Dr.Who expected during my absence, I sensibly arrange to have my HD recorder connected to a TV to capture them for my return. From the spoilers I've been trying to avoid, this season is looking good, then yesterday, with the finale of the series approaching, I get an email. "I've recorded a few other things you might have been interested in off the news etc, and now your HD's full, and I don't know how to delete anything..."

Freaked out about a procedure I need to have done next week - three rounds of iron IV infusions. I know it's fairly common, but I'm a weenie, and I've never really had medical procedures done like this. It's not really too serious, and for that I'm thankful, but still...a little scary for me.
My iron levels are so low, I keep getting asked how I'm even able to function; I guess I have had this for so long I don't know what "normal" feels like. Kind of makes me wonder what the heck I'll be like when my levels are up where they should be...

Traffic court on Monday, I went online to see how much the fine was, and it was WAY more expensive than I thought it would be...otherwise I would have paid it off on the website and been done with it...I hope I can work something out for a payment plan or something...

Out of my medications. As in, all of them. Feeling all kinds of things I don't want to be feeling right now.
Mostly pain.
Pretty much all pain.

class 216 repair is stuck. Had one end of the main hydraulic hose renewed. The other one was ok.......until now. As soon as enough pressure builds up, that end starts leaking. Tomorrow is bank holiday. No test run for me!

It's exam time. Whilst I generally only experience stress through mild sleep disturbances, now I'm onto "major" sleep disturbances. Currently on 70~ hours strong, and not tired yet. This could be a problem, especially as I've got an exam wednesday. I'll be a bastard if I crash then, wouldn't it? ~Longeye~

216´s repair even more stuck. Main Cog is worn, the chain keeps coming off as the teeth have lost their shape. No problem, got two (!) replacement cogs.....bit they do not fit the shaft by 0.5 mil...... At least I gout around to re-fit the new exhaust and the fuel cut-off.

Well... My car died.
It's dead. It's gone. There's no coming back from this one.
It's over. Curtains. Longest lasting car I've ever friggin' owned-lasted me RIGHT AT TWO YEARS.
Before anyone says anything, I buy used cars. CHEAP used cars. I just don't have the money, nor the credit, to get anything better. Medical bills have totally wrecked my credit, so there's no chance of buying with anything OUTSIDE of cash.
So, come October-ish, I'll have the money to get a BETTER quality used car-something in the $3,000 range, maybe a bit more.
So, yeah, I'm pretty pisspoormoody right now.
EDIT: May 22, update:
To avoid double posting... Sh*t just got real in my life, and I'm in a very, very dark place.
Think I'll take a bit of a break from BG for a while, don't want my negativity dragging down everyone else.

I've recently had symptoms of gout like problems that go away when I stop eating one of three foods I can digest and come back when I eat it again. Worse is it doesn't seem to just be a simple build up in my system that just neeeds time to drop down before I can eat it again. Because the last few days when I reintroduced the food, it's given me a feeling of a chest cold settling in.
I thought maybe it was a chest cold. But I stopped eating the food again about thirteen hours ago and most all of the symptoms have faded.
This is not a good thing because a person cannot survive on carrots and ground turkey nearly as long as they can when peas are added to that.
I will be forced to run through some speedy trials of new options. Which means I will spend the next week being sick each morning at least and possibly all day, in vain hopes of finding one option that makes me less sick than the other foods I'll be trying.
I do not hold high hopes for the forseeable future. I will be losing a lot of weight I cannot afford to lose, I will spend a lot of time in pain, and even if I'm lucky I may still require a hospital run at some point. In the end I may have one or two options of foods by three weeks from now. and from there I must try and figure out what more can be done.
Any day you can walk away from is a good day! right?

GLS! Again! Last week they dropped two parcels just in front of my door. Tracking said they were delivered correctly and the recipient had signed for them. NO WAY! Neither me nor my wife were at home. The hotline guy told me the name of the person who signed. No-one of that name lives in the whole area. (Of course, if the neighbours pick up a parcel for us, they take it home and do not leave it laying around in the yard)
Filed a written compaint........only to find another parcel the next day. Will file another one and give them HELL.
We pay for the parcel to be delivered correctly. What if something gets "lost" (just an invitation for thieves if the parcel is just dropped near the door, completely visible from the street)......

Dental surgery yday. Or rather, the aftereffects of one. No pain, I have pretty high tolerance; the annoying part is that the stitches they put in itch like crazy! And I'm not having them taken out until Wed.

My Dad's operation (prostate aneurysm) means I'll need to go and stay with my Mum whilst he's in hospital. But my car is off the road and isn't booked into a garage until AFTER I need it so I've got to rely on others for transport.
And my ATOS interview is bang smack in the middle of it and they're not very helpful about changing the date.
It never rains.....

There is a puddle behind my back right side tire... inside my trunk/boot.
The gas stove isn't working because one of the other tenants didn't pay the bill with the pooled money we've all paid.
No local stores seem to have electric hotplates in this area.
I'm definately having a reaction to one of my safe foods. meaning I'll have to make myself sick a few times in an effort to find a replacement.
Oh and our water heater is gas powered to. So only ice cold water until some time next week.
I'm going to drill a drainage hole in my car until I can find where it's getting in. Then I'm going to go get something to cook with and heat water with. I'll get to the weekend with just carrots and meat so I can try something to eat that worked a few years back.
It just seems like a lot to deal with when you you joints hurt and your lungs 'itch' you don't know what you can eat and you couldn't cook it even if you did.
