Interest piqued, western gear just sitting in the cupboard...
(Mind you, I could probably do a Western Undertaker quite well...)

I have a vision of Herr Dok wearing a steampunk version of the Nitrous Oxide mask from Little Shop of Horrors, a horrifically blood covered apron, a truly spectacular set of steampunk dentist tools, including a raygun drill, motorised pincers, and terrifying mouth clamps. The Nitrous Oxide mask does remind me the Victorians were very much into ether parties.

I like the parties that included the appreciation of precious metals in their unrefined states while partaking of said vapours: "Ether Ore Parties"...

You are confused, it was not appreciation of precious metals, it was appreciation of women of negotiable affection for Ether /'Ore parties. Both involve Golddiggers, so an easy mistake to make.
They were very much the thing of the Hellfire Club.

I've got a gunbelt as well, and am gagging for a chance to wear it.
Definite interest here.

Speaking of ladies of negotiable affection, I have saloon gal outfit, down to the garter and fishnets.
And my partner Ambrose Booth has gentleman gambler or shootist hat and coat. He is working on a handheld gatling gun that shoots nerf bullets.
We also have a lovely brass opium pipe.
We could take 2 others in our car, from Chelmsford Essex or there abouts.
When is this planned for?

People interested in attending, please add me on FB https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=604853638 We have a hidden forum on FB where Photographers and Models can arrange and discuss shoot ideas Places are very limited on the day, and we are just going through the numbers to see who is available and would like to Model on the day. The day will be from 10m to 6pm and will be split into 5 or 6 sessions, with breaks in between shoots to change, move to next location etc. It's a fun day, with the chance to work with a selection of Photographers Thanks again John

Good lord, I wish I wasn't in Oxford then. Words cannot express how badly I want to get out the Stetson. Does anyone have a banjo? I expect a sing-along.

Looks wonderful- AND more "authentic" than the REAL Laredo looks now! I have been in reenactments & gunfights on St. Augustine Square in Laredo- the Rio Grande & Mexico were less than a block away. But the city has grown with the times & is much like any South Texas City now. The Version in England is more to my liking! Well done!

Just as a curiosity I could mention to y'all that there is an abandoned western town(well, it is actually a wee bit to small to call a town, but you get the idea) in the middle of the swedish countryside too. It used to be a tourist thing back in the 80's named "Fort Apache" but went belly up somtime in the late 80's. Since then it has been more or less abandoned, used as a storage for the owner who is the farmer living next door to "the town". I went there with a friend of mine just about a month ago and it was really sweet. Some photos:

Nice photos Cap Spaulding! I find it quite amusing that places such as England and Sweden would build American Old West towns. I thought that would be something restricted to "we crazy Americans", but I see that the love of the American "Wild West" is appreciated in more places than just here. Glad to see others enjoying the fun!

Kind of like Texans building Viking ships, I'd hazard...

There are actually two Wild West places in sweden, but this is the derelict one with the more rustic feel to it. The other one is still attracting tourists and are bigger than ever. High Chaparral
