Not steampunk, but one of my favorite pictures of myself. And I think that shirt has some potential for an outfit down the road.

"Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

I think the Beiber thread fills that role.

I too, play an Iceman style instrument (Mine's an ICX-120, the "Iceman Lite," as it were-shoulder damage and all...). BEAUTIFUL bass... LOVE me some Ibanez instrume-oh, yeah, we're here for the curves of the WOMEN, NOT the curves of beautiful instruments... Thank the heavens for this thread. I've managed to turn off the water heater in my house. Thanks to the ladies who have posted and beguiled and flirted and, well, you know who you are. This. VERY this. Quoted for Truth! Ah, what the hell? Might as well-

Mine is a white Precision bass; I didn't have it at school that semester. But I do miss the Iceman. All that gold hardware... On another note entire, that stare of yours is intimidating me.

My MAIN bass (I have 4) is a Wine Red MiM Fender Precision (1998, modded with '61 Reissue Pickups, and a pearloid pickguard that has aged from white to antique-esq). I actually PREFER Fender basses to Ibanez-but that's just me. My GUITARS, on the other hand, 50% of my collection is Ibanez, the other two are a Vox Bulldog (1960s, I BELIEVE it's '63, but I've heard '66 as well), and a Lyon by Wash... Back on topic-I must NOT be derailed! (Any furthur disscussion of gear, feel free to PM me-I LOVE talking about what I play and why, and I REALLY LOVE hearing about other people's gear!) I get that alot about my gaze-most guys are intimidated, most girls... Well, it's mixed with them, actually. Some are scared, some QUITE the opposite. Depends on the lady!

Ha, my bass is MiM also. Olympic white though, which over the past 7 years has just begun to age and look quite lovely. Stock pickups but I did just install a Babicz bridge.
And speaking of basses, the Eastwood EEB/EUB basses are just begging to be steampunked.
I'll PM you further details.

Yes I can see how that stare would inspire the ladies.

The flat cap goes well with the jazz box I think, with the coat adding a bit of militaristic flair. It definitely works well together.

I literally threw that together while you and Xenos were talking about basses. I was working on another project and said, what the heck.

Been watching this thread a while and figured I'd throw my hat in the ring. One or two of these have been posted elsewhere on the forum. A few vaguely steampunk/neo-victorian/neo-edwardian shots My girlfriend likes this one so I figured it's worth showing This was coming home from the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island, NY showing off civilian mess dress From a play I was in called Time and the Conways And, some not-so-steampunk (but still fairly retro) stuff With my dad's '65 Chevelle
