"Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

When tatoos are just too main stream!

Known as Lichtenberg figures or lightning flowers, “they are thought to be caused by the rupture of small capillaries under the skin due to the passage of the lightning current or the shock wave from the lightning discharge as it flashes over the skin.”

Accidental or intentional? - whichever it looks painful!

I have been playing around with some panoramas today.

Needless to say, I had to down scale it quite a bit for posting. This is less than 1/10 it's actual size.
And that was the smallest one. Largest image of the day, is a composite of more than 20 photos. Full size= well over 400 megapixels, after stitching and cropping.

I love panoramas.  I need to get the right card for my camera.

Well I wrote a song today...then while in a guitar mood remembered that my fiance had a pink wig....

If you mean Memory card, I can strongly recommend Sandisk extreme pro. You will not find a better SD or CF. A bit more expensive than most competitors, but well worth it.

I wish I could grow mine out right, but it always ends up more...70's....  Bad genetic mix of Italian and Irish.   Cry

I will definitely have to check it out.  All my other cards are Sandisk, and I have not had any complaints yet. (knock on wood)

I would argue strongly that in another context this would be steampunk as the principle components have their basis or are from the later part of the early 19th century.  (and into the early 20th)  However, to avoid any sort of debate....this is my Republican Militia/International Brigade Impression for Spanish Civil War reenacting:

(all of the components have appeared in my steampunk photos aside from the logger's shirt)

Rather in a dark mood today (the "problem" in my family has started hurting my engagement.....I am so angry I am shaking) so to vent it I decided to do a photo set based on The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

"The Plan"

"The Portrait of Regret"

"The Suicide of Dorian Gray"

"The Death of Dorian Gray"

Something completely different:

I've scanned a couple of pictures, made with my analogue 35mm camera.
These are scans made from the negatives with my film scanner.
