You're too kind, Herr Döktor No, no, I do believe he's quite correct. Personally, I'd say stunning is an apt word. Luscious also comes to mind.

I finished my Ramshorn Head-dress! YAAAAAAAY ! Only took me 5 hours as well ^_^ Well, that is spectacular! And led me to search out 'female satyrs' which led to this poem by Hesiod: “They lived like gods without sorrow of heart, remote and free from toil and grief, miserable age rested not on them; but with arms and legs never failing they made merry with feasting beyond the reach of all evils. When they died, it was as though they were overcome with sleep, and they had all the good things; for the fruitful earth unforced bore them fruit abundantly and without stint. They dwelt in ease and peace upon their lands with many good things, rich in flocks and loved by the blessed Gods”.

Here is an old one of me without facial hair! I just realized the bulk of the pictures of me before steampunk were either goofy college pictures or reenacting ones....there must be something psychological about steampunks and self-portraits.

Psychological? Well, something 'mental' at least! I finished my Ramshorn Head-dress! YAAAAAAAY ! Only took me 5 hours as well ^_^ Breathtaking... (when I get it back, I'll post something more informative! )

So, D. Oakes, you were a sergeant major in a Guards Rifle Division? Which one? You outrank me- I was/am a junior sergeant in the 89th Guards Rifle Division.
Hope that all is well in your area...

Young Master Oliver's first trip to the Maryland Renaissance Festival... and trying out the new sporran... That is great. Miss you guys! We made it down to Tennessee finally - safely, without incident! The Frumious Bandersnatch pulled strongly all the way. Cheers! Chas.

That was about the only thing that would get me into anything labeled as a tuxedo. That it was NOT one these modern lounge-lizard abominations. They were actually the bride's preference, and the groom was quite happy to agree. They were comfortable and looked good on all three groomsmen and the groom himself. Although the tailor at the tuxedo rental place about despaired of getting the coat to fit my shoulders, until I told him that my shoulders are asymmetrical due to my SCA fighting.
