Since the point was raised about the lack of recent steampunk in the pinup thread, welcome to the home of the non steamy pics that are meant to be a bit steamy.

Or in less confusing terms, enjoy the pictures.

.... I've already posted my best pinup in the other thread and I don't want to double post. Sad Alas. But! I want to enjoy pictures.

Hallo~

Due to the recent comments in the Anatomical photo threads about them not being steamy enough, I had a thought that maybe it's worth having a thread here in offtopic for them to live in so to maintain focus in the Anatomical Board! Cheesy

I'm confused now...we have a 'Playing dress up' picture thread..a 'steampunk pin up' thread..a 'post your picture' thread (which I assumed was for non steampunk type snaps) and now we have an 'off topic' picture thread. What's the difference between this thread and the 'post your picture' thread?

Actually, that's a very good point if you think about it.

What makes this thread different to any of the other picture threads we already have?

I can't seem to find the old post your picture thread ( which I'm almost sure was in here....)

The playing dress up thread seems to be primarily for Steampunk Dress or variations thereof, so I can't post ordinary pics in there without it looking odd ( like my non SP pirate pic does) the pPin up thread is an obvious one, so that leaves room for this thread, for ordinary pictures and so on.

This way pics can be separated out into where they belong with regards to their content.

Ah, how odd. I can't find it either, although I've only made a cursory glance.

Where is it?  Huh

Well this thread (which I am fairly certain had a different name when I made it but it was an unusual hour for me to have any for of cognitive ability) was created for pinups that are not steampunk, since the steampunk pinup thread had become more of a general pinup thread and thus there were points about it being offtopic.

I merged the OT pinup thread and the OT photo thread earlier today.

So it's ok to post our pics in here that are neither  'dressed in a steampunk styl-ee' or of the 'pin up' variety, yes?

I think that is indeed a yes. This has become the new post your picture thread since the other was closed for archiving due to size (if I remember correctly what was said by StellaGaslight in another thread).  Smiley

If I just express my frustration that the situation is such that this kind of silly confusing jibberish is going on, without being a jerk and itemizing every little complaint, can I rely on y'all to fill in the blanks?

This is getting so stupid.

ok...so here's  some pics taken earlier this year at a couple of the London Vampyre Group's parties (as we've had a few vampire related topics recently). Hard to believe they were all taken at the bar in a brightly lit pub. The first one hasn't been photo shopped..they're contact lenses.

Hrm. Do I suppose I'd be justified to post my collection of Victorian and vintage photographs here, then? I rather would like to show them off since I currently have... forty-nine, fifty if you include a trade-card I have, but it's not a photograph.

I'd suggest making a thread in Metaphysical for that purpose.

Mmm. I was curious because our last "post your picture thread" included posting pictures of that sort of things. I'll do so!

Didn't it wind up in Anatomical, for pruning and archiving? Along with the old "Playing Dress Up/Steam Gallery" thread, I don't know where it went from there...
