What's the plural of "fez" anyway? Fezes? Fezi? Fezerinis?

I think someone had these up recently as smoking caps. I'm not clear on what the difference is, but it's all fun.

I believe the plural of 'Fez' is 'Fezies' or 'Fezzies' but either option is ungraceful.

And ruins the joke.

Fez are not smoking caps, Fez are felt and are a tructuated cone, smoking caps are velvet and a pillbox shape. I have both. Fez are acceptable with all forms of evening dress, as a peakless, brimless hat they can (like the smoking cap, or a turban, or a Nepalese cap), be worn indoors.

This is already one of the funniest threads active at the moment.......  Wink  Cheesy

Those of your who are Doctor Who fans will also note that tonight he led the way in a revival of fez-splendour. I must say I thought it went rather well with his bow-tie and braces......

A "Fez Are Cool" thread now exists in Anatomical, if some kind (or even unkind) Moderator could transplant the last few posts, then Robert is your parents sibling.

Again I believe mean  'mole'

Village Hats did previously have Maroon Fez with a stem rather than a tassle, but they are no longer on the site. They do however have maroon, green, black and purple fez with black and in some instances gold tassle.

Bloody good deal on the bulk purchase for them with 24 Maroon with black tassle for about £205 that's £8.50 each, nearly half price. Now all we need is one of the dealers at The Asylum to stock up!

And Herr Doktor the photo would make a lovely summertime Avatar with the tagline "Fez Are Cool"

they can  Shocked I must get one then.

and, just to maden the unhelpful, Herr Doctors picture makes me think of the James Bond film, "the spy who loved me". but I can not think why as I do not think he would wear a fez.

I won money on that one.  Trouble was the odds given were 10:1 against so it was hardly worth the bet.

Perhaps we need international Fez appreciation day. Wear your Fez with pride.

I am thinking Sunday 12th September. This is the Sunday of The Asylum, so a large number of attendees should be able to bring/wear Fez for a group photo, and those unable to attend can wear theirs whilst toasting with a nice Gin and Tonic.

Attaturk did it to westernize and secularise Turkey. All state officials had to confiscate any worn. The Turkish National Bus Company were no exception. My joke wasn't just a horrible pun.

That reminds me there is a small press who do SF called Atomic Fez, they must be so chuffe after this episode, talk about free advertising.
