You sir are a legend, I was looking for something just like that at first, but when due to my poor googlefu was unable to locate something I went with the silver one I was going to use for my Daemonhunter. Thank you for the links!

Thank you Mr Hathaway! The open vest isn't intentional, it's actually because I can't find mine so I *ahem* borrowed the one belonging to my good lady, who is a much smaller size than me. Though I do like the idea of a black turban or shemagh, though that will need my usual goggles rather than the sunglasses I think. The original idea was something along the lines of an all black version of Arthur from Inception, but I just love those pinstripe trousers too much.
If I may ask, where did you get those awesome pinstripe trousers? I live in San Diego, so we are unlikely to show up somewhere similarly attired...

I believe (removed the label because it itched like mad!) they are from "criminal damage". I know attitude clothing in the UK do them, but dont know if they ship to the US, or if there is a retailer based in the US.

It looks like in the States, "Attitude Clothing" sells plus sizes, not gothic!

a picture from our live fire drill. I'm the slacker on the far left. they didn't even give me time to button up! it was a hot one too. no targets were harmed in the production of this picture. storm troopers are better shots than us!

Sure, its fair! If you want to keep taking pictures of pretty girls long into the night, and you want to be better than "dude with camera #792," you need a gimik. That night, mine was a big freakin' gun.

I do so love shots of little girls with really big guns. The lady from the first photo should be made into a wedding cake decoration (with an accompanying Groom whose hands are held up) The ladys from photos 2 and 3, well. They should be on the divorce cake.

My lady and i went out to mountains of West Virginia last weekend and decided to do a little dress- up costume photo shoot. I just finished reading The Peshawar Lancers, and was really keen do something in that vein. I went through my costume trunk and put together a pretty good Sahib-log officers outfit, whereas Sarah did a belly- dancer/ harem- girl look. We also had another set of togs we took pics in. I was in a sort of "Country Squire" outfit, while sarah was going for a Victorian Fairy look.

Thanks, all! Countess: The doggies name is London. Thats what the breeder named him at birth, and after i learned that i knew he was meant to be mine. Mme. Pocky: Sarah achieves that look by layering really sexy lingerie with oh-so-sexy negligee. Topped off with a riding jacket. I am ridiculously jealous of your costume trunk. In a word, yes! All that and more. I can do a decent costume for anything from Roman times up through modern day. Halloween was always my favorite holiday growing up, and i did theater all through middle school & high school. Besides that, my family has always been into antiques, and we're also a bit pack-rat-y. The only 'new' part of the costume is the uniform tunic which i bought at H&M a few weeks ago (saw it & HAD to have it). Besides that, i improvised the saber-attache, the Sam Brown belt is made from a holster and a surplus police belt, and the pugaree is actually part of a bed-spread set. I'm a master of disguise. Actually, i'll be doing a big clean- out soon of weapons, props and clothing i have extras of. I'll put them up on ebay, but i'll post links to the auctions in the trading thread here.

Been quite a while for me since I last posted in one of these sorts of threads, but I have a new set of 'threads'. I know, I know, I'm hilarious. Anyway, with a ball in sight for me in the near future I went about looking for something smart and different for me to wear, and this is what I've ended up with; Please excuse the dodgy bow tie, I am learning how to tie them, got the hang of it, I just need to refine my technique. Anyway, its a full British Army Major of Engineers mess uniform which fits me as though it were tailored for me, all for the expensive sum of £30. eBay does have uses, y'see. Unfortunately that picture is a week or so old, was in the act of taking new pictures when the camera battery died this morning, and I can not find its recharging thingy.

Looks very smart, Captain. Please do provide a pic of the full rig, when you get a chance. What pants? Shoes? Have you a hat, or a sash or some other dashing bit of kit?? Looking forward to it...
