Fantastic photos everyone!

Here is one of my wife and I celebrating our one year wedding anniversary this last July at our favorite Bed & Breakfast.

I'm a bit new to this, so bear with me.  I got them displaying correctly on my computer and in photobucket, but the rotation is off in the preview of the post...just tilt your head. =P

This character is a faerie fancier looking for new specimens.

... I'm the big guy on the left.

Nicely done Doctor, and the spats are an especially nice touch. I think they are a much overlooked detail.
Could you post a more detailed picture of them?

Dear Sir Undercomplicated,

Actually I made them (almost) all by myself.
I began with a paper template, and then drawed it out on grey leather.
Then it was time to give the wife a big smile, ......yep, she did all the sewing.
And finally I hammered in some snaps, and "presto!"

Some more detail.

Also exellent for masking some more modern shoes.

I know the hat isn't 'period' but I think it works with the outfit. I'm going for a mad scientist look. How is it going, what do you think?

And  yes, the hat does go with it

I went to a con this past weekend and got a few pictures. There was a Tenth Doctor cosplayer there and I got a picture with him, the Tardis and an adipose. <3 I was screaming on the inside. Also, a picture with another steampunk, and a few of myself with the Tardis. I look confused in all of them because I didn't expect the picture when it was taken. o.o

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
How on earth did you get a stuffed adipose?

The lovely gentleman dressed as the Doctor asked the woman running the crochet table if she would crochet an adipose for him, and she did! She's going to start selling them next con.
Awesome.

Not really steampunk (actually, delving more into Dieselpunk if anything) but here's a more recent set of pics of me in some of my more favored attire.

I've been attempting to find a way to work that jacket into steampunk attire, but it just screams 1930s/40s too much.

I LOVE this look!  It suits you very well, sir.  Grin
