Yeah I'd thought about having it knock them all off, but the acceleration required for a jolt that big would be right out of line for a steam powered vehicle the size of the Child from a standing start.

I don't mean to try and take control of this RP; if anyone else has better ways to do things, I'm all for it, especially as concerns the GM. If I'm getting too Prima Donna-ish, or my handling of something is boring as hell and just can't work, please tell me so.
To wit: I'm aware that Percy's ballyhoo is a little over-the-top, but he is at heart a small-scale entrepreneur, and his (private) custom as per gunsmithing is dictated by being able to shout down the competition, and/or impress the customers -- so his 'ringmaster' act for a veritable Van Scagg's Circus of Memories, Legends, and Gunsmithing (lol) would come as second nature, in my view.

Haha... you know I was actually expecting something like that from Rimfire, pretty much matched the persona I had imagined for such a character. Heck would be how I played him out. "If you can't bedazzle them with BS, then blow them away with a bazooka (or Blunderbuss as the case may be)."

((OOC:I may have 'bad' news in the offing... This is not in any way related to recent occurrences in the Portrayal section, but it could potentially have a great effect on them on my end of things. My doctor and I will be 'dicussing treatment' today (all very sudden, following labwork yesterday  ). It occurs to me that it could all fall out that I will not be able to continue this or the other RPs I am involved with; I will continue as long as I can, but if surgery or other extreme treatment is called for I will have to either take a break or discontinue altogether. Whenever I have time for this, my computer does not work. When it does seem to work I am bogged down with papers. I will be spotty around here.

Its a good thing my doc is so conscientious. The stuff below might sound like a rant, but it's actually in praise of my doctor, rather than a complaint. Turns out its not surgery, not intensive insulin therapy (yet), but rather 1. Catastrophically too much fat (triglycerides)-stop eating fatty things, low-cal diet 2. bad sugar control - not so many carbs, etc. 3. for one and 2, see a dietician and follow the instructions assiduously. Now: Here's the really odd part. You know how weight-loss people tell you to drink water when you're hungry, to take up space and such?? Well, it seems I took that a little too far. The doctor said my my Sodium was dangerously low; in essence, I had been drinking so much water that I had washed all of the salt from my system! It's actually more complex than that, but the low sodium result still works out the same, so number four is still: 4. Eat More Salt ... (No, I'm not kidding). (please, don't take this as any sort of proof that salt is not harmful; remember, all medical cases are different .It should also be mentioned that I used to consume three sixpacks of cokes per day; my intake of water was partly to combat the cravings for diet colas. And they say they're not addictive...  ) So...I suppose that I'm back, but I''m also to get much more exercise, so maybe I won't have as much time...we'll just have to see... |

I'm not trying to bring Malc or Grim back, although the idea did occur to me (might be nice to have a wildcard entity out in the sands...). I just felt that the phantom cat stories should have at least a possible grain of truth, and if Grim supposedly survived, then maybe Malc did too. Or whatever. Or not...
I have no Idea what Percy found out about the route to York Atrium. maybe suggestions could be made...
What shall we do when we get to York Atrium?
