Excellent news Victoria. With a selection of the League's Facebook regulars attending too we should gave a good gathering. It looks like bening splendid weather too, so remember to pack your parasol! However the best news is that the meet clashed with the World Cup game - Hooray!

You would be most welcome Herr Doktor.

People will be gathering about 1pm, either outside the entrance or in the foyer, then probably moveing to the cafe for TEA. If you find yourself running late and ther edon't seem to be any of us about try walking down the hill towards the pier - we may be douing a promenade or having a ride on the carousel!

Lovely to meet you all- and to bump into someone from the 'old country' too- my Good Lady wasn't remotely surprised to hear about the coincidence...

Look forward to seeing you all again!

It was a pleasure to have you down here for a meet. Hopefullty next time we won't have the dual problems associated with pepole having  'silly season' commitments and the hoi poloi swarming over something to do with kicking a ball ...

Seconded!! Lovely to have chatted with you! My Dear Husband was very pleased to have reminisced over his old stamping ground with you - it quite made his day!

On a side note, I have emailed the lovely Nicky at the Russel-Cotes with a view to getting a "Friends of the Museum" off the ground. The League have had some great ideas for events that would support the location and our interests, it is merely a case of cutting through red tape and convincing Da Management - ie the local council I believe. So, watch this space.  Wink
